  1. The staff was so pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously, we cannot wait to come back!

  2. Spent Sunday afternoon at The Mansion with my sister. I had been there before and LOVED it again on this visit. My sister had never been and was visiting from out of town. She had such a great time that now her teenage son and our mom want to visit to try and beat the 8 doors that she and I found! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful building and all of its treasures!

  3. I am glad that I found out about your existence. We had a marvelous time exploring the mansion and trying to find the 70 hidden doors. We only managed to find 5. However, we enjoyed looking at the way you decorated the mansion. We hope to visit again in the near future.

  4. It was cool to find various secret passageways and rooms. I like the theme rooms and some items that fit the theme. I loved the historical building itself and find that to be cool enough to explore. Will definitely come back with friends. This would be an amazing bachelor/bachelorette party location if you do such things.

  5. We had an amazing time at the Mansion on O Street. The owners and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were given an amazing tour of the house before going to our suite. The room was fantastic. I would definitely go back to the Mansion on O Street because it is truly a unique experience!

  6. Wonderful songwriters, great music, great fun. Always an awesome experience at The O!

  7. My friend and I were not quite sure what to expect and the Mansion delivered the most unique experience! Our host – Vinayak – was a perfect gentleman and answered all our questions. Touring the mansion was our final stop on our few days in DC and it was the perfect send off. There is so much to see we can’t wait to come back. Thanks again!

  8. I can’t believe that a place like the O-street mansion exists. It seems like a hidden treasure and a must see of D.C.. The O-street mansions is one of the best places in D.C. to see the history and culture of the city encapsulated. Its incredible charm and unusual layout makes the experience of spending time in the hotel engrossing. I had such a great time on the tour searching for the rooms where certain musicians stayed or Looking for hidden doorways that I had to go through all the floor twice to make sure I did’t miss everything! The hotel not only seems like it would be an incredibly fun place to stay but also it seemed like the staff – who were incredibly welcoming – managed to let people explore the hotel on their own without impinging on the privacy of those staying there. I also really admired how open and welcoming the mansion is with it’s residency programs for artists and heroes which hosted Rosa Parks for many years as a resident! I! am really glad to have found out about the O street mansion. I only have praise for the staff and owners who have managed to create an incredibly unique experience that is welcoming to both those who wish to stay there and those who attend the museum tours or the events that are held there regularly.

  9. We enjoyed our visit to the Mansion. We come to D.C. Each year for business And have seen most of the monuments and museums over time. This was something different and fun. First we were looking for treasure hunt items and admiring the Mansion. Then we were just looking for hidden doors. We were entertained for over 2 hours.

  10. We had a wonderful stay in the Country room. Couldn’t have been any better. We loved the O Street Mansion.

  11. Loved it. Wish we had more time. Btw the man who greeted us was super helpful and friendly.

  12. We came in as a family; 2 adults and 2 pre-teen boys. It was hard to tell who enjoyed the experience more. The introduction was great before running off to explore! We appreciate the coat and bag check. Luckily we were able to uncover 7 different secret passageways/rooms. Overall, great experience! Would recommend.

  13. Mansion on O Street is one of my all time favorite destinations and places to bring people. Everyone I have introduced the Mansion to has loved it. From young kids to my mom.

  14. The Rock and Roll Hunt tour was awesome, every room and niche is filled with memorabilia, not all rock and roll related but fascinating all the same. We were just amazed at the accumulation of noteworthy, silly, serious items, Janis Joplin’s death certificate, guitars signed-we found the Springsteen one, dolls of all shapes and sizes, paintings, so much and ALL FOR SALE. I can’t wait to go again! And I will bring all my visitors to this place, a DC landmark for sure.

  15. Staff very accommodating and hospitable, especially the “bartender” who had only been there three weeks (working on his masters). very enjoyable.

  16. We found 11 doors. Looking forward to coming back again and again until we find the rest of them.

  17. Loved it! Best concert venue ever! Thank you Ted and H!

  18. Thank you for such wonderful event!! My guests were thrilled!

  19. We had a blast exploring the Mansion with our teenage daughter. There was more to see and to do than we imagined!

  20. We had a wonderful time and I’m still amazed by the Mansion. This is the start of a beautiful partnership. I know there was a lot of changes and you hit every mark, from the food to the meeting space and private setting. You also helped me stay in budget. Our team had a very successful meeting and I can’t thank you enough.

  21. A must-see place in DC! I lived in the metro DC area for more than 20 years, and I can’t believe that I found out about this place only two weeks ago. My girlfriends and I visited the mansion during a girls day out. It was great fun.

  22. Our group thoroughly enjoyed touring this very interesting mansion. The owners couldn’t have been nicer. It would take more than one visit to see everything and find the hidden doors.

  23. Brought my niece there for the self tour and glass of champagne. We so enjoyed roaming the house and the history. All the lightening was amazing to think it was all donated. The guest rooms were fun and quite special in their decorations. The thoughts of having events there seem special and fun!!! The hidden wine and dinning room was so great. I can see having a small special dinner in there for sure. It was also very informative to speak to you and your husband of the love and work that was put into the home. Will definitively pass along the tours to my friends to come and visit. Also a special thanks for letting us leave our car at your lot while we went off to have lunch. Thanks again for a fun couple of hours.

  24. This was our first visit. It was really fun and very different from anywhere else I have visited. Overall, we found the staff to be very welcoming and the experience was positive. I will visit again. Thank you.

  25. My boys had a great time exploring the mansion. The experience was unique, fun and a little mysterious! We had a great time.

  26. Really fun to see this hidden museum of DC. Plus, it wasn’t too crowded, which was a huge plus. Walking through as self-guided visitors was the way to experience this place. Being self-guided allowed you to spend more time in areas that interested you, and let you find hidden passages, rather than having them pointed out to you, which was more challenging and made it more interesting. I think it would also be fun to come visit at a private party/event.

  27. What a wonderful find in DC! We had a wonderful time exploring and observing all the things this place has to offer. We wished we could have stayed there for longer than we did, and will definitely come back if we’re back in the area!

  28. We had a blast! Found 11 secret doors and enjoyed every minute of exploring. We can’t wait to come back for another event and hope to see the parts of the mansion that were off limits before!

  29. The mansion is amazing, the staff are all gracious and attentive. The quality and presentation of the continental breakfast was good. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to many future visits. Patron comments – Great and unusual trip to a most interesting place. Truly enjoyed it. This trip was unique and informative. The knowledge that Rosa Parks lived there was new information for me. Wonderful! Spectacular – lovely. Different and tons of fun. Thank you! Really neat, unexpected experience. It was amazing.

  30. For so long we have heard wonderful things about the Mansion on O Street and we finally were able to experience it for ourselves. To say we absolutely enjoyed it would be an understatement! From our unique and eclectic room (Garden Room) to the impeccable and friendly service, the Mansion gave us limitless possibilities. 22 hidden doors, compartments, and passages we found during our stay! Can’t wait to come back and find the rest. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience, Mansion!

  31. This is just a wonderful venue to see a performer. If you get a chance to attend an event at the Mansion, GO! You will not regret it. I have seen JD before, and this night was the best. An intimate night with friends and beautiful music in an amazing space. Awesome!

  32. This was my first visit to the mansion and my expectations were more than met. After seeing the mansion on a TV show on travel channel I decided to check it out for myself. I brought my boyfriend with me and we had a magical day exploring the Mansion. It was fun to do something different for a change and explore a piece of history. We both love music and very much enjoyed all the different items in the mansion that showcase so much music history. We actually managed to find 5 hidden doors and were very proud of ourselves. We hope to return again and hope to one time stay the night at the magical mansion. Thank you so much.

  33. Everyone at the Mansion was gracious and wonderfully hospitable. It is a beautiful experience at the Mansion the second you walk through the door! It could not have been better! The concert was pure magic and we are big fans of J.D.Souther. Thank you Mansion at O!!!

  34. It really was a wonderful evening…Ted and H are amazing hosts and I’ve loved every evening and event I’ve spent there!

  35. You have such a lovely staff. It was so much fun to check out this very special place. Loved the intimate singer songwriter experience with JD Souther. I look forward to coming back.

  36. Wow..last night was so incredibly special…the setting, the music, the whole event. You continue to raise the bar with these intimate concerts. Just spectacular….thanks for doing what you do!

  37. Loved it! Enjoyed all of the details, secret doors. The champagne was such a nice treat during the tour. Had a lot of fun! Have lived in D.C. area for 30 years and this was my first time visiting. Think it would be an amazing venue to host an event. Loved the Rosa Parks and John Lennon rooms. but my favorite was the log cabin and the secret wine cellar!

  38. This was the most fun!! Elena was a doll. I’m glad I came at an off peak time. I felt like I had the place to myself even though I could hear other people talking. I will be back the next time I am in dc!

  39. Absolute nothing like it!! It was an excellent experience. We surprised our friend for her 67th birthday. She LOVED it!! She said that it was the best birthday experience she has ever had. Thank you for helping us make her day so special!!

  40. Loved the experience. We had tons of fun exploring and discovering all of the hidden wonders and gems. Everyone we met and talked to were interesting, helpful and enjoyable to talk to. Wine cellar might have been our favorite location but it is truly hard to choose. We would have loved to go out on unoccupied balconies and additional glasses of champagne were very pricey. But other than that, the entire experience was wonderful!

  41. The Mansion on O is fantastic on so many different levels: physical, emotional, spiritual. If you find someone who isn’t mesmerized by the Mansion, they have no soul. Mark D. LoPresto

  42. Vinayak was very helpful and fun giving us the “need to know” speech at the beginning of our self-guided tour. My friend and I found seven of the hidden passages, mostly because we heard other people exclaiming over them. It would be cool to visit on a quiet day when you can just explore and look for the passages. I’ll have to go back and look at all the items lying around, as this visit was more focused on the excitement of the treasure-hunt aspect. Definitely a cool place.

  43. It was fantastic. In addition to an experience and environment you just can’t find anywhere else, the Mansion staff were welcoming, accommodating, and added to the fun of our New Member event. We will definitely be back for a larger event that our entire chapter can enjoy.

  44. My husband and I visited the mansion for my husband’s birthday. We had a great time doing the treasure hunt. I attended a party in the evening and recommended the mansion to everyone at the party as a place they must visit. When I arrived at work today, I told everyone I worked with to visit the mansion. It was surprising how many people have lived in the area for years and never visited the mansion. Visiting the mansion is a must do. It is on the top of my list of what I will recommend to people that visit DC.

  45. Lovely place filled with so many treasures. So much to see…absolutely enjoyed seeing the mansion,

  46. This was my second visit to the mansion, but the first with my children (7 &8 years old). Your staff was patient and informative. We had a wonderful time exploring each room and enjoying something extraordinary about D.C. Love from Philadelphia, Adrienne, Max and Leo

  47. Our visit was outstanding and so educational. Ted your team is amazing and we will return. We love “The Lighthouse”. Everything we needed was close. The subway,Starbucks, great Resturant’s and wonderful people . Thanks so much! Love your great wife. “H”! Mayor Acquanetta Warren

  48. Loved the personal touch that Ted and H. gave to us on our visit! We thoroughly enjoyed our welcome chat with Ted and conversations with H. about the charming and historical pieces we discovered on our tour. We left with lasting memories and treasures, and I’m looking forward to returning with my husband and other friends from out-of-town. Thank you! It was magical. And the valet service that Ted provided was really, really appreciated as our arms were full of goodies : )

  49. It was a wonderful experience. The mansion in magnificent and being able to explore it and look for secret passageways at our own pace was great fun and very interesting. We loved how different all the rooms were and how eclectic the décor! Staff was warm, friendly, informative, and helpful!

  50. It was great!!! Thanks to one of the owners (Ted?) for giving us a chill greeting and pointing us to the secret wine / Illuminati room just off the kitchen. I will be back, with friends, soon.

  51. This is the second (but not the last!) time I visited. It was the first time for my guest. We both loved it! Seeing the Holiday decorations and knick-knacks was a treat, and I was able to see more of the guest rooms than the last time I was there. I also found the wine cellar this time! This place is a real gem!

  52. The museum at O street is a amazing place and continues to evolve. My second visit and my families first. H and Ted are fantastic people with a giving spirit. Don’t miss this opportunity to open your mind.

  53. There were five of us. We truly enjoyed our visit. We plan to return. At least 2 of the people in my group are also planning to come back with other friends. I will be looking into planning a dinner, tea, or some other event with a group of friends.

  54. I loved every minute! Will come back to spend more time looking at things and memories in the rooms. Loved the private room on the bottom floor with the piano and fish back chairs.

  55. The staff was really nice and seemed excited to throw a fact your way. They didn’t seem “over it”. It was so cool to see the owners milling around. They were so friendly and when I booked too many tickets, they immediately took care of the situation. It was so interesting and different than the normal DC tourist attraction!

  56. Everything was great – easy, low key – fascinating. Thank you for your efforts. We wish you every success and hopefully we will plan a festive event there in 2017. s.

  57. Incredible tour, amazing atmosphere, beautiful architecture, fascinating people – all made for such an intriguing day! Thanks again, -Steve

  58. Excellent food, excellent service, great experience. The mansion looked fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

  59. It was amazing!!! The food was out of this world delectable!!! We had such a lovely time and we are still talking about how delicious the food was

  60. We loved it and are excited to come back. Wish we could have found a few more hidden doors, but we will try again next time!

  61. It is absolutely amazing in there!! The variety of objects and the sheer numbers of them was incredible. I found 4 secret doors, which definitely made me feel “above average” :) The hosts were extremely nice and very nformative when I asked questions (though I go no spoilers about secret doors!!). There was so much to see and experience. I loved all the different bathrooms and mini kitchens. I wish I had had much, much more time to explore…..Therefore, when I get back to the area in the Spring, I will be visiting again!! Hopefully, with my sister in tow. Thank you so much for an unforgettable day, and I’ll see you soon!!

  62. Loved it! I was very impressed that you let Veterans stay at the property for free. It really says a lot about who you are as a company. Cheers!

  63. I like the freshness with which you told your personal stories. You must be asked the same questions 100 X a day and yet your responses did not sound beaten down with repetitiveness but came out as sweet as the freshly baked cookies. I liked how I felt trusted to go around unsupervised and yet every so often there would be someone to attend to any question or need we had. I did not like that the cook told us where the secret door was. but we realize he was cooking up a storm. we had such a fun time finding them. I think we got 10.

  64. It was amazing!!! The food was out of this world delectable!!! We had such a lovely time and we are still talking about how delicious the food was

  65. Incredible tour, amazing atmosphere, beautiful architecture, fascinating people – all made for such an intriguing day! Thanks again, -Steve

  66. Excellent food, excellent service, great experience. The mansion looked fantastic. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

  67. It is one of my families favorite places on earth! I’ve traveled the world and really, there is NOTHING like this place! It is magical, inspiring, interesting, fun. We never get tired of going there. The staff is extremely generous and friendly. I mean how many places do you know of that you can walk around all day, I usually spend 3 to 4 hours marveling at the rooms and objects. Everything and I mean everything is for sale!!

H & Ted are the most beautiful people I’ve ever met, they are sincere, caring and go out of their way to make sure we’ve always been welcomed.. This place has brought our families memories that will last forever, I love the mansion and love you H & Ted…

  68. It was much more than I expected. My husband and I brought My parents. They loved it too. My father and husband talked about it all day. Definitely coming back.

  69. Great Halloween party, we loved the decorations and dessert buffet. Alot of attention to detail was spent on planning the party from decor to music to food, and it was alot of fun!

  70. Wonderful! The rooms were great! The staff was great too. Great place. Totally rocks

  71. I signed up for the Champagne Tour. This was by far the most unique experience I’ve had in DC. I didn’t quite know what to expect, having read just a bit about the history of the O Mansion. I found myself smiling all throughout the tour. I would’ve stayed longer if I didn’t have to move my car! The only thing that would’ve made the experience better is to have the option of an audio tour to learn more about each room. I read some of the card plaques but was too distracted by the rooms themselves and looking for the secret doors. I got a little history fix lounging in the second story of the log cabin watching the short TV clips about the Mansion. I get that part of the point is the mystery and secrecy…just a little difficult for a “nosey rosey” such as myself!

  72. Thank you for an amazing event. We will definitely be back!

  73. We just wanted to thank you so much for everything you did to contribute to our wedding. It was perfect, and everything we could have hoped for. The food was amazing, staff was great, the venue of course is something everyone talked about, and we all just had a great time.

  74. Good tidings from Deep in the Heart of Texas.
I have just been still long enough to reflect on some of my late summer travels,
and I must tell you that I am still getting vibrations of serenity & comfort from my August
stay at the Mansion, and my time there with you & H.

Thank you for making me feel like I am always most welcome,
and that I’m as cool as Jackson Browne, or a host of the other true artists that
    find shelter & inspiration there.

My best to you both on this Friday. Today I’ll take delivery of the new Mystiquero record,
and my own solo record, and I’ll put them in the mail to y’all next week.

Peace & Happiness on your house.

    Onward WW

  75. Absolutely incredible experience. Want to come back and keep hunting for hidden passageways! —

  76. There is no other place like The Mansion On O. Many visits later and still discovering, being blessed & inspired by all that Ted & H make possible for all of us. So much more than a Museum. Indescribable. A true great ‘escape’. Grateful to witness.

  77. We had a WONDERFUL time! Everyone was so
Nice and we had soooo much fun. I will definitely bringing more guests to your lovely and very interesting mansion!! Thank you for such a lovely time!

  78. The Mansion was the perfect place to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Your place is so fun and funky and offered something for everybody! The kids loved exploring all the secret passages, while the adults loved the delicious food and danced the night away. Nobody will forget a party at the Mansion on O Street! —

  79. Thanks for helping us organize our retreat — we had a blast! Thank you!

  80. Our event far surpassed our expectations .
Unfortunately a number of our guests were late due to traffic , but the staff were wonderful waiting for them and were able to adjust the schedule , so we were all able to enjoy a tour of the mansion , before sitting down to tea .
    And the tea !
Each course was more delicious than the preceding one. We just loved the presentation … using different stations . This of course gave us the opportunity to move around and talk to each other which was just what we wanted . We were truly amazed when we saw the cake stands with the chocolate Capitol buildings , WOW . The cakes themselves were absolutely delicious, hard to choose a favourite.
I had originally thought that we would be confined to one dining area so it came as a wonderful surprise to realise we would have a reception area , as well as the food stations , and a beautiful dining area, with a fantastically presented table .
I know Roger had planned on coming down to meet with you again , but our time has not been our own with a lot of friends and family invites . So he plans on sending you his thoughts as soon as we are back in the UK.
Thank you once again for making our event so memorable and special , Margaret

  81. It was a lot of fun exploring the mansion & trying to locate the secret doorways. We found 5…cannot believe there are so many more that we missed! Definitely want to go back to try and find more! —

  82. Your staff was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! I don’t think there are enough words in the English language to describe them. Everyone had a great time and we LOVED the Museum. Most are already planning to come back.

Thank you so much for seeing that we had a GREAT time and it really left a very, very good impression on our guests. I am sure that we will be back. We gave them your information to let them know who help us plan the event. We really told them that all we did was make the call and you pretty much handled everything else! So we were allowed to be guests and enjoy the event too. That was really outstanding! You will probably get some calls soon.

I am definitely coming back again soon, even if it is just to bring my friends! –

  83. We had a fabulous time! Each space from hallways to rooms was so fun to explore – and so clean! How to do keep all the items from having any dust?!?! We will definitely take friends here when they visit. —

  84. I absolutely loved your hotel and if I make it back to DC I will be staying with you! How fun, entertaining and unusual of an experience. I’ve already told all my friends about your place. It fit perfectly with my travels to see art in DC. It was a perfect compliment to my adventure. —

  85. We did the self-guided tour on a pretty day finally after so much rain here in the District. The staff is truly great and Veronica was knowledgeable, helpful and loves her job. After an introduction about this nonprofit we adventure by ourselves around the house, took us an hour and a half to wander around at our leisure. Only found like 10 hidden doors but it was fun. Love how the rooms are decorated and the antiques in it. Will come back! —

  86. We all had such a fabulous time Saturday. You and your folks pulled out all the stops and all our guests were blown away. They’ll be talking about the Mansion Wedding for a long time. And we will of course recommend you to everyone we meet!

  87. Fantastic place! You’ll be seeing me a lot until I know the place inside out! —

  88. The Mansion on O Street is too much fun. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will return.
    Tom “Bones” Malone —

  89. The CT Association of REALTORS® booked a fun dinner and tour for 52 of our members last weekend. The house, the guest service and the food exceeded our expectations! People really enjoyed exploring the mansion, looking at all the fun items and artifacts displayed throughout the house and then had one of the most fantastic dinners we’ve ever had at an event venue.

Our members were still complimenting the night and what a great time they had the next day. We would HIGHLY recommend The Mansion on O Street for your event, you won’t regret it!

Need to stress again that the food was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!

Thank you H and everyone on staff at the Mansion!

    Kind Regards,

  90. Food was absolutely delicious as well as the deserts. The self tour was amazing and fun! We had a great mothers day lunch and it was the best! —

  91. The Mansion on O Street was a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle of downtown DC. I came in a group of three and we all enjoyed discovering secret passageways and compartments (although we didn’t even come close to finding all of them!). The philanthropic mission behind the mansion is truly inspiring and I will definitely recommend it to my colleagues. Wandering around five houses can be tiring, so I’m also really appreciative that the designers included chairs for visiting explorers in the floor plan! -Jen Wachtel —

  92. The staff was really great and made it a very fun experience! —

  93. I fell like I fell down the rabbit hole or went through the looking glass! We had the best time, but didn’t see it all, so we will definitely be back very soon! —

  94. Thank you for the tour, the food and above all the warm services.

  95. The Mansion was a great place to visit for a Sunday Funday. I am kicking myself for not coming here earlier. Definitely intend to come back and check out more… —

  96. Staying at the Mansion on O was like staying at a home away from home rather than a hotel. Entering the Mansion you immediately transported into an exhilarating, spiritual, quirky, surreal environment that makes you smile, make you reflective, surprises you, astounds you and opens your creative juices. When you check in you don’t only get a key and code to the door but more importantly you immediately adopted into the Mansion family. My stay was the most relaxing stay I have ever had in any hotel and the most inspiring. Climbing the stairs to my room the “5th Dimension” was like taking a stairway to heaven. —

  97. The Mansion on O… what a PERFECT vibe! We were greeted and treated with such warmth and kindness. Can’t wait to go back!

  98. Wonderful, quirky, unique experience. Secret passageways are extremely hard to find. Some sort of guidance would be appreciated. —

  99. Our experience was wonderful. I have always loved secret passage ways from a young age. The room and designs are really fun to see especially the log cabin room (also love aquariums). We only found about 5 main secret passage ways (the bartender stated there were possibly 60) so i was expecting to find more. The only other downside is that we didn’t get to see all of the rooms since guests were staying there but i guess this means we’ll just have to come back. Thank you for the great experience!! —

  100. Thank you, Ms. H and Ted for a truly memorable and magnificent experience. Last night was everything I could possibly have hoped for. Alto did a wonderful job on the tour and our chef was perfection. My most important guest said it was the best meal she had ever had. That could be an exaggeration, based on the overall experience, but I agree, it was an incomparable meal.

  101. Had a good time exploring the museum and it’s collection of ephemera. I hope to try again during one of the special events. —

  102. We have just about come back down to earth after our whirlwind visit to Washington D.C. The entire experience was like a dream, beginning with our stay at the stunning Mansion on O Street which set the scene for what was truly the trip of a lifetime for our young musicians. The Mansion is simply the most amazing, unique and gorgeous hotel on earth; full of fascinating curiosities, with all the rooms so exquisitely decorated, we felt like royalty!

Since we came home, the Mansion has been a real talking point, with everyone fascinated to know what made it so different and special. Thank goodness we had photos and videos! For us, it was a combination of Alison in Wonderland captivation and Louis X1V elegance, luxury and style; coupled with the warmth of your welcome and personable approach, that made staying there such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Thank you for allowing us to have such an ideal space to rehearse in – this was essential for us in our final preparations for performing at the White House. Finally, a huge thank you for the very generous rate which made the entire trip possible.

Sincere thanks and best wishes until the next time,

    Sharon and CBOI

  103. Thanks to you and your team, we had a wonderful retreat and experience in Washington for our group. From the special rooms, dinner, having Jessie Jackson at breakfast, Capitol Hill experience, and finally a tour with the FBI, you made everything wonderful. I believe that the groups favorite event was sitting with you and listening to the demo recordings. We appreciate you sharing that experience with us.

  104. The Mansion on O is a Wonderland of visual and aural surprise and delight. In your wildest dreams, you have not imagined surroundings so eclectic, comfortable, lush, humorous, and over-the-top — all of it at once homey and grand. It’s a magic trick. It’s a living museum. It’s immersive theater in which the guest is the actor and the entire mansion is the stage. The Mansion and its lovable inhabitants embrace people, creativity, and community. I am already counting the friends to whom I will recommend it as a travel destination. —

  105. The hotel itself is amazing and beautiful! But the kindness and welcoming manner of the staff made it an even more amazing experience. We had a fantastic time and are already planning another trip and inviting friends from out of state to come visit and join us! Thank you for a fabulous day!! Very well done! —

  106. We had SO much fun!!! I came in December for a company Christmas party and decided to bring my 15 year old daughter back to help me find secret doors. The staff is warm and fun! We’ll be back with my other daughter very soon!Thank you!Sincerely,Debra Martin —

  107. Me and my girlfriend found only 6 secret doors! (She found nearly all the ones we discovered) —

  108. The Mansion is a crazy mix of old, new, and funky decor. Very interesting. I think a map would be good instead of just hit and miss meandering. —

  109. It was a lot of fun and took every bit of 2 hrs.
We only saw 6 secret doors out of a possible 60-70 so we were very disappointed.
We were hoping for some kind of key to the layout of the mansion to help us
    find more rooms and doors.
Overall it was great fun and we enjoyed our introduction by Michael.

  110. Absolutely loved everything! The house(s) are amazing, a radical departure from anywhere I’ve ever stayed. The bed in the Fireplace room was like being at home, I slept incredibly well. And Ted and Alok could not have been better hosts for our group event. Food service was impeccable. I could not possibly say enough about how great the whole experience was. I will recommend to everyone I know! —

  111. Always a GREAT show by Chris Berardo and the DesBerardos and always the best atmosphere and vibe at the Mansion. Best blend of a live performance with ease and flow of listening to music with friends. —

  112. Our company hosts a dinner event for our distributors each year during an annual conference. Which is held in a different city every year as well. I am so glad I was able to find the Mansion on O Street for this year’s dinner event in Washington D.C.
The guests had a fabulous time going through the “maze” of a house, the food was great and the service was excellent.
Thank you to everyone at the Mansion for a great experience.

  113. Everyone at the mansion does their utmost to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your stay. I really do not understand why a person would stay at a hotel when your can stay in such a spectacular setting.

    Bill B. —

  114. Great experience! I’ve never stayed anywhere else like it. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a truly unique experience in DC. —

  115. Thank you so much again for your hospitality. The mansion is such an awesome place to visit. You have graciously hosted my students for three years in a row now. —

  116. On behalf of our entire team, I want to thank you again for everything you did to make our event with you such a success. I recognize we thanked you over email earlier, but I wanted to send over something more formal to reiterate how grateful we are for the service you provided.

We had a great time at your venue and we will happily recommend you to others at Deloitte.

  117. We had a very enjoyable rainy Sunday from 2 PM until 5 PM finding 9 of the 72 hidden doors and 13 of the 17 items on the treasure hunt list.we would have to return 3 or 4 times to even give it the justice it deserves. —

  118. It was interesting & fun. I found 6 doors, but would love to find more. Any chance of getting a cheat sheet with hints to help find them? —

  119. Visiting the mansion was a very memorable experience for me and my wife. Its dynamic nature and special events have us sure to return in the future! —

  120. We had a wonderful time – great food, Felix was terrific and such an entertainer, nice guests. And the hosts, H and Ted – marvelous as usual. LOVE the O Street Mansion! —

  121. Had a great time with my husband at the Valentine’s event. Definitely want to return again sometime. If you’re going to drive I recommend valet parking. —

  122. Janis Joplin would have loved this weird and whimsical house. It seemed like a cross between a hoarder’s flea market, a Bates Hotel on Route 66, a Rock & Roll hangout, a luxury party venue, and a spy fantasy of hidden passageways thrown in for good measure. I couldn’t get over how clean it was considering how packed it was with huge chandeliers, books, and stuff everywhere. The rooms looked comfortable and like a fun place to stay with family. I give it 5 stars for it’s uniqueness. —

  123. WOW!!! Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed my visit to the mansion!!! My only regret is that I could not stay longer!! (I needed more time to shop!! :) )
The 5th Dimension suite was FABULOUS!!~~~beautifully decorated (I felt SO at home!!) and comfortable~~~and the staff were all GREAT ~~~friendly, helpful, professional and kind!
I look forward to a return visit, and have told my friends and acquaintances they MUST visit the mansion when in Washington, DC
Love & Blessings, and a sincere thank you to all at the mansion.

  124. Such a cool creative place. It was such a neat feeling to walk around and look at all the eclectic things around the house and find all the secret doors! —

  125. We had so much fun at the Mansion! This is a very unique place that everyone should visit at least once in their life! I’m looking forward to my next visit! —

  126. We had a fantastic time and have told all of our friends about it. The band was great and the venue is amazing. We had never been to the mansion before but definitely plan to come back. Thanks! —

  127. The Lez Zeppelin concert was fantastic … unlike Ted, I never got to see Led Zep in concert, but tonight, when I closed my eyes and listened, I could have sworn that’s where I was. Thank you for staging that!

  128. Wonderful stay. The Mansion is so much fun to wander about it.
The food, service and entertainment were all great.

  129. A little bit brighter lighting on performers would enhance enjoyment of the performance.Sound quality, superb.Polite staff.Interesting place. I need to plan to spend time looking around at some point.Thank You … —

  130. Music was awesome – venue fantastic – bar to expensive….had a great time —

  131. I brought my 19 yr old granddaughter for her first visit. We spent two hours meandering around all the rooms – and found seven hidden doors! A great visit! —

  132. Lovely Sunday brunch.would have been nice to see a few more options.ie oatmeal, cheese, cold meats.
This was a truly unique experience. We came with our 22 year old son who said it was the highlight of our trip to Washington. He said everyone knows about the monuments and museum but this is a well kept secret. We brought our friend who has lived in DC for 4 years and he had never heard of it!
Loved that the staff shared their passion about this very cool place!
Will definetely pass this travel tip along!!
Next time i want to stay in the hotel and swim in your gorgeous pool! —

  133. Always a pleasure to explore the mansion. We will certainly be back to introduce others to this fun place! —

  134. My first visit to the Mansion was for a corporate function in early in December. What a treat and I immediately thought of several people I knew would love a trip to the Mansion. I was absolutely delighted to find oyster plates on my first trip and gave them as Christmas gifts. On January 2nd, I shared this treasure with my husband and our close friends from Radford, VA. We spent several wonderful hours wandering through the rooms to see all the Mansion has to offer. My husband particularly enjoyed searching for and finding many of the secret doors! Many of our conversations began with I remember… or remember when! We have several other friends and relatives who will enjoy a trip to the Mansion. Thank you for a great way to begin the New Year! — Karen Skeens —

  135. I’ve been wanting to visit the O Street Mansion since I first heard about it a couple of years ago but just hadn’t found time to go visit and also wasn’t totally sure how interesting it would actually be. This year, for Christmas, I decided to get tickets for me and my family as a Christmas present (we did the self guided champagne tour). We had a BLAST looking through all the rooms, getting lost in the twists and turns of the house, and finding secret doors (we found 10 of the 70 in the house)! We were there for two hours exploring the house and definitely would have stayed longer if it wasn’t closing. Also, everything in the Mansion can be purchased and my mom and sister found some interesting items that they ended up buying and taking home. We had so much fun and will definitely be back to find those other 60 secret doors :) We are also planning on returning to celebrate for New Year’s Eve. If you are looking for a fun outing in DC that is not museum or monument based I would definitely recommend checking out the O Street Mansion! —

  136. We had a great time. My kids had never been to the mansion before and they thought it was very cool. Hard to impress teenagers but you did! Love finding the hidden passageways and rooms. I tried to buy some chairs but they were sold, It is awesome that your inventory really moves. I will come back again soon to look around. The only suggestion I would make is When getting people started on their tour, self guided or other, tell them that when they find a hidden door (mirror or book case..) to close it quickly so it does not give it away for others looking. —

  137. Really original concept. We appreciated our visit even tough we clearly should have plan to stay longer (we were not able to visit the whole mansion, but we wish we could have). It was a great experience! —

  138. We had a wonderful time. The whole place was very cool, and we had a blast hunting down secret doors while we sipped on champagne. We are already talking about coming back, but this time we want to stay there! —

  139. This was simply a magical place! It’s truly a hidden gem. Or rather, gem upon gem upon gem! The food was fabulous and fresh and we felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. The valet knew who we we were and congratulated us on our engagement. I was continually amazed the entire day and we can’t think of a better place for our wedding. Now we need to figure out logistics in the next week or 2 before we pick a date. But this place is everything I could have possibly wished for , and MORE! —

  140. It is one of my favorite place on earth! I travel the world and really, there is NOTHING like this mansion! I had a chance to meet the owners and tell them in person how grateful I am to be able to visit such a wonderful place. It is magical, inspiring, crazy, funny….I never get tired of going there. The staff is extremely generous and friendly. I mean how many mansions do you know that you can walk in any day?? I spent usually 3 to 4 hours marveling at the rooms and objects. So far, 10 secret passages found, but there are 70! I do always buy objects since I fully support their art program, read more about it! Artists live there! thank you thank you so much for making a secret mansion dream of mine come true!!!!!!!!Doe —

  141. The museum was a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the eccentric architecture and the individually themed rooms. If I get the chance, I would love to attend a masquerade party or a themed mystery dinner party. —

  142. The office Holiday Luncheon at the O Mansion was magnificent ! Veronica our hostess was such a pleasure. Meeting Mrs. H and hearing her story and what inspires her, was so very enlightening and a treat. It brought to light what is important in life. We were in awe as we toured the Mansion. What a treasure. We will be back and will continue to support the O Mansion.

    Thank you.

  143. I had been planning this milestone birthday dinner party at the Mansion for months. From day one to the actual event, the entire process was smooth and painless. I was so nervous and anxious about the details as the date approached but my event planner Sally, was beyond patient and supportive. We had a dinner party in the wine cellar. The food was exquisite! The service exceeded my expectation! The mansion itself is such of an unique place with many different and interesting activities. My quests were beyond impressed . My event supervisor( Rogelio),and personal server(Astrid), were beyond attentive and made sure we lacked or wanted for nothing. I have nothing but great things to say about the entire experience and would highly recommended this venue for your next event be it something casual to an elegant dinner as I had. Will definitely come back to The Mansion on O street. Thank you for making my Birthday celebration unforgettable. —

  144. It was an honor to meet Mrs. H. Leonards and Mr. Ted Spero. The introduction to The Mansion was great. However, there was also a sweet young African American woman who received us so friendly and tried to make our stay pleasant. Thank you to all of you! I certainly will return to The Mansion – an unforgettable place.Happy holidays and warmest regardsUlrike Bergner —

  145. On behalf of everyone at Tempus Inc. I would like to say thank you for a wonderful night! We received great feedback from our guests both at the event and in our office today. Our guests were mesmerized by each object and secret passage way they could find in the Mansion. The food was phenomenal and I can certainly see why your pastry chef is one of the top 10 in the country :).

I would also like to commend our event supervisor and his staff. I unfortunately did not get his card so forgive me for misspelling his name!

Rogelio was an absolute delight to work with. He went above and beyond his call of duty and from observing the way he interacted with me, his staff, and our guests I can tell that he is a great leader. I wanted to arrive early for our event but wasn’t able to due to traffic and unforeseen circumstances. Once I arrived (15 minutes prior to our guests arriving), Rogelio found me and we went through some last minute changes I wanted for our event. Instead of being flustered by the changes, Rogelio sprang into action and directed the staff to assist with our needs. Throughout the night he would check in on me to make sure our guests had everything we needed. He was vigilant and acutely aware of everything about our event and he even offered suggestions to make our night better ( Such as the location of our photo booth, moving our podium etc).

Even though I only worked with him briefly, I can tell he has great character, amazing work ethic, and embodies the brand of the Mansion brilliantly. My boss, the General Counsel of our company, loved working with him as well.

I would also like to thank Sally, the director of catering, H, and Ted for working with us as well. This was my first time planning a Holiday Party for our company and each one of them helped me throughout the process. I would love to thank them for their patience, answering my questions, and offering suggestions as well!

The mansion has now become my go to place to show guests around when they come to DC.

  146. We took five 11 year old girls for a birthday party – they LOVED it!!! —

  147. Really enjoyed touring the Museum and searching for secret doors. The wine cellar was the best part for me! —

  148. We had a fantastic evening at the Mansion on O Street! It was so much fun to explore and check out all the amazing decor. The Black Lillies the frosting on the cake! We did not know of the band prior to our visit. They were incredible! Thanks for the hospitality! —

  149. Absolutely great. We didn’t know what to expect and you exceeded any hopes we had. It is definitely going to be a must see any time we have out of town company. —

  150. Impeccable service and a fascinating place! We had so much fun exploring everything. Thanks so much for the hospitality, Ted and H! —

  151. November 29, 2015, Sunday.

    Dear Ted and H.

I had a wonderful, peaceful time on Thanksgiving Day. You really made me feel special by inviting me to the family and friends table. You get a big thumbs up from me. The food was delicious!!!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful time. Maria —

  152. The band was fantastic and the setting so wonderful! What an incredibly special place! Thank you so much! —

  153. Black Lillies we’re EXCELLENT. Probably the best concert we’ve been to at the Mansion.Thank you!!David Bean —

  154. Memorable evening — warm welcome at the door, room after room of fascinating memorabilia, always good music playing, and the performance was way beyond my expectations — great band! 11 out of 10! —

  155. We had a fabulous time! The addition of the televisions was great! My son was happy to see FOOTBALL on.

Kudos to the Management and Staff. See you next year!

    Brenda Carr —

  156. Food was amazing…… wish we had a tour guide. Other than that everything was great!

    -Aaron —

  157. the entire tour and the experience was wonderful. Loved everything and will recommend it to my friends. Thanks for a great day! —

  158. We had a great brunch and tour! Food was excellent, service was attentive and we really enjoyed exploring the mansion on the hunt for secret doors. —

  159. The experience was better than what I imagined. From the greeting at the front door to us being walked over the bar for our champagne. We explored every floor and loved all the different themes that went throughout the mansion. There were hotel guests there so there were some restrictions about which rooms can or can’t be entered. Other than that we enjoyed the experience and the secret rooms. —

  160. Everyone is so pleasant, cheerful, professional, helpful. Great fun finding the hidden passages. Ann McGill —

  161. What a great evening! You can’t beat the intimate experience of this small venue; and I felt like I left with new friends. Looking forward to returning.—

  162. Kate and I had an amazing night and our guests cannot stop raving about what fun they had and about how beautiful and incredible a place the Mansion is. You all did an amazing job setting up the space just as we wanted it, the food was plentiful and delicious, the bar was well stocked and your bartender a super nice guy, the staff was gracious and patient with our (by the end of the evening!) inebriated guests… In sum, we could not have asked for a more special evening.

Also, you were all so accommodating with allowing us to spill into the entire first floor, I know the kids loved the extra space to run around in, and also with allowing us to drop our flowers off at the Mansion and assemble our centerpieces there. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for making our wedding so memorable and stress free! We hope to be back soon! —

  163. I want to thank you for the most delightful experience yesterday.i wanted it to be a special day for my sister’s birthday, and it was a 12 on a10 point scale! —

  164. I went to OMansion to hear Freebo who is one of my favorite artists. It was my first time there and the experience was terrific. The hosts are welcoming and the mansion itself is incredible. I explored some but felt a bit shy looking for hidden doors. Maybe next time I’ll go with a friend and discover more. —

  165. Dinner was FANTASTIC! We ate in the wine room, which is lovely intimate room, perfect for a dinner for 10-12 people. The food was out of this world. Their French chef described everything on the menu and how it was being prepared. They were also able to accommodate our vegetarian guest.
It was a lovely experience and I will definitely go back.

A+ food, service, and venue!! —

  166. Everything about the Mansion was wonderful. It’s a truly unique venue for any kind of event. We loved it so much, we will go back again and again and again. And, they have the most incredibly helpful and friendly staff — and the owners — H and Ted – they are the host and hostess with the most-ess!!! LOVE them! The moment you enter the Mansion, you feel like you’re part of the family!!! I’d HIGHLY recommend using the Mansion for a meeting, special occasion – or go, just for fun and see if you can find all of the hidden doors. Also a great place to find one of a kind gifts for that special someone!!!!!

I’d give it 10 stars if it was an option!!!

  167. Don & I enjoyed the O Mansion Hotel immensely! We were amazed at the way you handled things so promptly! Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The food was tremendous and delicious. Everything was more than we had expected! Many thanks!

  168. I wasn’t really sure what to expect since I’ve never been to the Mansion before this visit. The staff at the Mansion are willing to go the extra distance to make your stay a most memorable experience. I would highly recommend visiting the Mansion if you want a truly eclectic experience.

  169. Saw a great show last night! This was the coolest music venue that I have ever been to. It felt like I was listening to music in the artists living room. There was too much to see in one night, I can’t wait to return for a tour of the mansion!

  170. A truly unique experience! Every time I go to the Mansion, I see something else amazing. Thanks for providing such an incredible experience. —

  171. Phenomenal experience. Plentiful amounts of food for the wedding reception and next-day brunch. Fantastic wait staff service. Extremely comfortable beds. Beautiful decor throughout. LOVE the secret doors.

Privacy is a plus at O Street Mansion.

Thank you for a memorable occasion.

    Jennie Cardin

  172. Always a pleasurable experience. Thanks for allowing the Mansion to be my home away from home. —

  173. Loved exploring the mansion! And Mark Bryan was fantastic – fun stories and awesome music. Such a great evening. —

  174. Amazing place to tour around and check out. Couldn’t decide between looking at the memorabilia or trying to find the hidden doors! This was my 2nd visit and will definitely tour again :)

  175. The hotel/museum was our favourite place in Washington! If we ever make it back to DC, the mansion will be a stop for sure! Thank you! —

  176. Had an exceptionally nice stay in DC this week at the O. The mattress in Safari is luxurious. Perfect. Slept great. —

  177. Awesome venue, great and professional staff. I spent my best birthday celebration in the Mansion. —

  178. The entire evening’s experience was fantastic! It was my first visit to the mansion. I didn’t get to explore it nearly as much as I would have liked. Still need to find a secret door! The host and hostess were delightful. I met several new friends-in-music. I never, in my wildest dreams, thought I would get to hear Jack Tempchin play and sing, let alone meet him and speak with him in such an intimate setting. Truly, a night to remember. —

  179. Your staff is so helpful and hospitable! Can’t wait to organize a party in your wine cellar someday! —

  180. My daughter and I really enjoyed our visit. There was so much to see that we are planning a return trip. I am sure that our next visit will be just as fascinating. As we only found six or seven of the secret doors, we will be looking forward to finding more on our next visit. This will definitely be an attraction that we direct out-of-town friends and relatives to visit. —

  181. The museum tour was phenominal!!!! The Gwendolyn Britt Senior Activity Center participants thoroughly enjoyed the visit! We searched and found the secret doors, which was a lot of fun. We explored the many bedrooms labeled by celebrities and they were simply beautiful! The items donated were all very interesting and many unique! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Our assigned informant, Veronica, was extraordinary in her delivery of information about the museum. She greeted us with a smile that made us feel very special and cared for! We conversated on the bus as we returned to the Center that we will bring our families and share with our friends the wealth of possessions and interest held in the museum! Thank you and we wish you continued success! —

  182. Our family had a great time at the Mansion. We wanted a special brunch before our youngest leaves for college. Our omelets were the best !!!!

  183. H and Ted were such lovely hosts, and the mansion is truly a sight to behold. Chock-full of treasures, stories and adventures, the Mansion on O Street is the perfect destination for your unique, quirky and downright fascinating DC needs. —

  184. it was a bit hard for us to find all the secret doors. haha, but overall the trip was really fun! —

  185. Singer-songwriter Freebo’s performances just keep getting better and better. The room was just the right size to allow him to perform entirely acoustically — it’s a real treat to hear him without amplification. —

  186. I love that we found something unusual to do in dc since we have done all the tourist things for years. Feels like we found a gem hidden in the city. We only found 3 of the hidden passage ways so I guess being a spy is not in our future. Might be nice to provide some clues to guest who would like a little help finding them. Thanks —

  187. Love that everytime we go things seems different! —

  188. Had a great time. Always something new to see and places to explore. Don’t miss the wine cellar (if you can find it). —

  189. Outstanding show. Intimate setting, superb musicianship. And the performers took my request. :) Hope you’ll invite them back.–Gary Parker —

  190. The Mansion on O is a fun place to stay! This time getting to know Ted and H made it even better! —

  191. What an incredible place! Food was amazing. People were very friendly and helpful. It was our first visit, but certainly not our last! —

  192. To future visitors: Entrance is access to the entire hotel; passages to kitchens, hidden door to wine cellars, hidden doors to the penthouse suites, etc. You need to look for the hidden doors as you traverse all of the 4 floors and basement of this expansive building. While walking you will get lost and start to look at all the antiques and other eclectic items that are all both on display and for sale. —

  193. An SRO evening at the Mansion on O is to feel the weight of the world lift and a door to the universe of possibilities open wide – like being on the inside of a dazzling snow globe, while beautiful music swirls and floats through the air, finally settling into your soul. The Mansion on O is magnificent. The Mansion on O with Chris Berardo and the DesBerardos in the house is an evening of pure joy. Thank you all. —

  194. I Had a blast at The Chris Berardo and The DesBerardo show. I can’t imagine a better venue to see them than The O Mansion. It is a magical place. ThankYou. —

  195. O Mansion is truly a hidden treasure that we love love love to escape to. Listened to great music last night, up close and personal. There isn’t anything like it that I have experienced before. Thank you for all your efforts and great performances that you bring to the public. We am forever grateful. Blessings, Don, Donna and Sammie too. —

  196. We had a wonderful day yesterday! My hearty thanks to your entire team for your graciousness, expertise, and infectious enthusiasm. Our day far exceeded our expectations in every way possible, and I’ve already spread the news to a number of my other colleagues that they absolutely must have The Mansion on their short list of places to treat their respective teams.

  197. We just had our wedding at the Mansion and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! It was like a fairy tale. Our guests loved the decor and the food, and of course the chance to explore the Mansion on their own for a little while! We found out after the fact that the Mansion was also hosting another wedding on the same day, and we never would have known, because the service was impeccable and the waitstaff were so responsive. They took care of every request we had, and were even able to make wonderful accommodations for several disabled guests. I would recommend the Mansion as an event venue to anyone who is willing to let go a little and allow the event planning staff to work their magic. They definitely know what they’re doing! We stayed two nights in the Octagon Room, and really enjoyed the funky bathroom fixtures. The tub was pretty sweet!

  198. We had a wonderful, fun, and inspiring time! Found 13 hidden doors, and enjoyed the décor and the unbelievable renovations.Thank you so much! I now have a unique destination / activity for out-of-town guests. —

  199. Thank you again for creating a truly magical place. The Mansion is an oasis of love, creativity and challenge (in the best sense of the word) that is unparalleled. The look on my 5 year old daughter’s face as she explored the music, art, food and architecture was wonderful. Seeing her cognitive dissonance as she wrestled with your answer to her question “why are there secret doors?” (you answered: “why shouldn’t there be?”) was both fantastic and more enduring than you might know – she has since answered every question with “well, why shouldn’t there be?”. I hope that question will permeate the rest of her life and I owe you the tuition of an ivy league college for it.

  200. Thank you for putting us in your Wine Cellar. It truly made for an amazing evening of intimate conversation and a most memorable occasion!

The steaks were fantastic! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

  201. I’d give six stars if I could! Magical. Thank you. The entire staff was as wonderful as the hosts. And the mansion itself was transcendent. We felt like beloved relatives come calling. The location is perfect for any DC adventure though it’s hardly necessary to leave the mansion to have a full exciting and delicious weekend. —

  202. Last night was a magical evening in a magical wonderland with the intrepid founder H, the magical and inspiring Paul Williams accompanied by the melodious piano playing Caz! It was a night that I will never forget. —

  203. Everything was perfect as always, and everyone was polite and helpful. Thank you for being a part of our memorable moments.

    Warmest Regards,

    William —

  204. I loved it! I will definitely come for a return visit! So much beautiful art literally covering every inch of the walls, and the most interesting, beautiful and eclectic pieces I have ever seen in one place. I also plan to look into becoming a member.

    Thank you!

    John (Jac) Hagerhorst —

  205. Andreas and Darling were exceptional hosts. It was my wife and I’s first time at the mansion, and it was one to remember. No question was silly. Our access in and out was easy. I felt vey secure. At one point I lost my wife in the building, and the staff actually helped me find her! They did everything to make us feel at home and comfortable. My room was very clean, and fully stocked with linens. If I had to find anything, perhaps the hot tub wasn’t very hot.. Tho it was so cool to use, who cares! I haven’t stopped talking about it to my friends since I went, and I will definitely return. Our room was the Garden Room, tho it seemed like we rented the whole place. We wandered around all night, and no one bothered us. Priceless experience. And the artist, Tom Constanten was great. He received us as friends, talked with us candidly. I just have nothing to compare it to! I hope you continue to get great music. Cheers!

    – Dwayne Todd —

  206. My daughter and I had a blast. Thoroughly enjoyed the music and a cocktail while we poked around the mansion. There is so much to see that we plan on a return visit. Our only regret is that we didn’t find more secret passages. But we look forward to exploring the mansion again in the future. —

  207. Lots of fun – SOOOO much to see! We kept forgetting to look for the secret doors because we were distracted looking at all of the cool items. We did find more than dozen once we knew that not all were “doors” in the strictest sense. Log cabin was our favorite guest room, and the wine ‘cellar’ was our favorite room. (we recommend visiting early to have the best chance of having the most guest rooms available to view!) Found several great books to purchase. Looking forward to returning – finding more doors and finding more books! Thank you for a wonderful creative time. —

  208. This was my first time here, and I absolutely loved it! I want to come back and find more of the secret doors! It wasn’t crowded at all (I stopped in on a Sunday), and the staff were very friendly and welcoming! —

  209. I thought the food was good, the service and staff were excellent and the mansion was out of this world crazy good. I can’t wait to come back. I didn’t even get a chance to explore 3/4 of what you have. It is an amazing place that anyone could visit and walk away with lots to share. What a hidden treasure this is. A real gem. Thank you for sharing it with me.

    All the best, Donna —

  210. It is always an amazing experience!I love to share it with friends and family who have no idea where I am bringing them to⦠(How could they? There is no other place remotely similar to the O Mansion!) —

  211. It was a pleasure working with Sally and H throughout the process. The party was everything I had hoped for. Eileen totally enjoyed herself and many of the guests commented to me that not only is the Mansion a great place, but all the staff were wonderful. I concur. Each and every person did their job extremely well, accommodating every request with warmth. They couldn’t have done better.—

  212. Everyone in our party had a spectacular experience….I wish I could have afforded a treasure hunt for the kids – but it was just over my pocket book..

The food was wonderful – drinks & service superb – when friends visit from out of state, I definitely intend to have them visit “O” Mansion. Menu items were not to be believed, the variety, quality and quantity met everyone’s expectations of a gracious and super tasty affair!

    Thanks so much –
    Best, Kim Steele —

  213. I brought my family to Easter Brunch since they were visiting from out of town. Everyone loved it! The food was fantastic, staff was very friendly, and we had a blast exploring the mansion. Thanks for helping to make our Easter a memorable one! —

  214. Our Sunday brunch visit was excellent. Everything was outstanding. The food and service was great and we enjoyed looking for the secret doors. This was our second visit and we brought family for their first time. They loved the place. —

  215. Had a wonderful time with my kids exploring the fun maze that is the mansion! —

  216. The tour was amazing, as per the norm! Every time I go to the Mansion, it’s like a whole new experience, exciting, fun, and different from anything else to be found in the area! I will definitely keep coming back to the Mansion. —

  217. The O Street Mansion was a great time! I booked a tour for an unconventional date idea, and neither of us were disappointed. Loved the decor, hunting for secret doors, and the pool table (although my lady and I lost a game of 8-Ball to our two friends). A+, would highly recommend. —

  218. We had a fabulous stay at the O Street Mansion. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. If anyone is interested in having a fun, unique, adventurous experience, a visit to the O Street mansion is highly recommended! —

  223. I had an AMAZING time at the Mansion!!! The scenery was nothing like I expected.. IT WAS A THOUSAND TIMES BETTER!!! The entertainment was AMAZING!! I’m new here and have only heard that it was so much to do.. WILL RETURN A FEW MORE TIMES..
(I have to do the scavenger hunt.)

    -Tiffany —

  224. This was my first visit to The Mansion on O Street. I had the most wonderful experience starting from the time my car was valet parked. The show was wonderful, however, my self guided tour and search for the hidden doors was even more wonderful. I found 3 of the 70 doors and had to ditch my Treasure Hunt due as there was so much to see. I even met a new friend on my adventure.

Thank you for providing such a great experience. —

  225. Felt like I was visiting family on the east coast. Very warm and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! —

  226. Ted, “H”, and the entire staff took really good care of our group while at the Mansion, thank you all for that. It is truly one of the most interesting and relaxing places I have ever been to. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

    Randy Tupa

  227. A true DC treasure! We absolutely had a phenomenal visit and we will book an overnight stay in the near future. That you! Valerie and Jerry —

  228. Every time I entered another room I felt like it was another surprise birthday party

  229. I went to the O Mansion for a company Christmas party. You couldn’t ask for a better venue. The food was outstanding and the mansion was incredible. I am going back. I have told everyone that I know about the scavenger hunt and have classified it as a place everyone should add to their bucket list! I will be back:)

  230. We were excited to be there and enjoyed every minute of it. And, were especially amused to be shown the indoor pool (now a kitchen). —

  231. We had a wonderful time at the brunch yesterday for our Kappa group. The food was delicious and as always there were wonderful things to gaze upon. It was a trip down memory lane. Some of the highlights were the buttery grits and the variety of foods to choose from. The staff was gracious and helpful and readily responded to our requests. H dropped by to say hi and we really appreciated getting a chance to see the person behind the magic. Thank you for making our event so special. —

  232. Best Date Spot in DC and Big Props to I believe Tom, who Played us some awesome demo cuts off his ipod in the basement. You cannot have a bad time in this place. —

  233. This was an amazing experience. I immediately recommended to all my friends. Thank you so very much. —

  234. It was a very interesting place to visit…very eclectic!!! Kinda hard to be sure if I saw it all!!!

    Fern —

  236. We LOVED our Champagne tour of the Mansion on O Street!! It is such an interesting place….so much to see and take in! All of the staff and our bartender were wonderful! We will be back with a large group for brunch soon!
Thanks to all at the Mansion for a wonderful afternoon! —

  237. Angel, our server, was wonderful. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Food was excellent — lots of choices. Desserts were ott – great. Every visit is like a new adventure – always finding new things. —

  238. Wonderful experience. Lots of things to see and read. The host were very pleasant and welcomed us with open arms. —

  239. The Mansion has spoiled me. I used to like a few of the hotels in the Dupont Circle area. Now they do not appeal to me. —

  240. O Street Mansion was a wonderful find. We live in the area and have been meaning to visit for a while. Very happy that we finally got around to it. We just did the self-guided tour but we’re definitely interested in the additional packages you guys offer. We’re definitely intrigued as to how one gets dinner in the wine cellar… —

  241. We had a wonderful afternoon. I’ve been recommending this to people all day. —

  242. Was worried that the food was cut back making it less fabulous WRONG! We loved our own little room and look forward to next year (but probably the Viteks before then) the LIPPIES FROM the Rolling are fabulous and shall await the new curtains..Great service and food and ambiance as usual..regards to all..Elinor Vitek and the Bad Girls —

  243. I brought my sister here for her birthday and we had a blast. The mystery of the mansion is so much fun. We will back! Thank you for such a cool place to visit. —

  244. It was our first time visiting the Museum, we enjoyed trying to find the secret doors. Met H —

  245. This is my second time seeing the show. Once again, I was not disappointed! Entertaining from beginning to end —

  246. Such a great experience! I can’t wait to come back! Interesting displays, awesome decor, and SO much fun looking for secret doors and passageways. Also a whole row house that I didn’t get to explore because there were guests staying and a private party.Thank you for creating such an intriguing place to visit! —

  247. Darling was an amazing host and bartender. She made us feel so very very welcome. The Mansion is one of our favorite places in DC and never disappoints. Although several areas were off limits on this visit, we still discovered new things on our fifth visit. Thank you. —

  248. Always a delightful experience. I particularly enjoy bring new guests to the Mansion for the experience. —

  249. This was a Christmas present to my daughters, and my grandson decided to join us as well. Everyone enjoyed the tour and felt it was an outstanding… and very different present.
    Lynn —

  250. My husband and I loved everything about the place! We’d really like to visit when all the rooms are open to the public, but the ones that we saw were fantastic! While we were on a mission to find all 70 secret doors (we managed to find 6), we just got caught up in all of the different things in each of the themed rooms! We loved the Mansion on O and we will definitely visit again soon!April and Kevin —

  251. What a magical, truly memorable time you gave us for my mom’s 95th birthday celebration and honoring our dear friend’s retirement! It was beyond my expectations, which are always high at the Mansion because you make EVERYTHING so special. You bring warmth and fun to every gathering. Ted, giving us a tour of the Mansion was such a gift and appreciated more than I can say. My friends from Tampa were over the moon seeing the amazing, eclectic, one-of-a-kind O Mansion. As my mom says, “It’s an experience all by itself.” Our dinner was absolutely delicious, the personalized menu was so special and the celebration cakes the best…just like you all are!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Until next time….

    Susan Collins —

  252. We had a great time at the O Street Mansion. We were greeted by a very nice and enthusiastic volunteer. The rooms were fascinating and we have told many of our friends about the Mansion. —

  253. Incredible. There’s so much to see, it’s overwhelming in the best way. You lose yourself in this mansion and forget about the outside world while you wander the halls searching for the slippery hidden doors. There’s nothing else like this place. —

  254. Just wanted to tell you what a fantastic time my husband and I had at the mansion this morning. You and your wife have created a truly unique place filled with creativity, passion and great food. We will definitely be back again in March for our birthdays. Thanks for a fun experience:) —

  255. Had a blast exploring the mansion and all the amazing things to see and find. I never knew such initially looking “junk” could appear as treasures. Just loved the colors, bathrooms, and unique aspects of each room.

The Drag Show – what a hoot. Great talent and entertainment. My daughters and I had a blast!

Kudos to all who make the Mansion such a tremendous place.

    Derwood, Maryland —

  256. Fun experience. A “different” way to spend some time exploring and relaxing. —

  257. The evening and event was wonderful! From the start at check in all the way through , Ted and H are exceptional hosts. The dinner was magnificent, the food exceptional.
The mansion is just gorgeous- we had great fun exploring, and doing the treasure hunt.
We stayed in the 5th element room- beautifully appointed, comfortable.
Thank you for a most magical evening and experience!!!!
I will definitely return and also tell others of this great place!
    Julie Worman —

  258. We had family visiting from out of town and were looking for something fun to do in the city. This brunch and blues jam was the perfect solution! The brunch was beautifully presented and displayed with an abundance of breakfast and lunch choices. We had members of our party who played in the jam, which sounded awesome! Great bunch of talented musicians ~ it was wonderful to hear. Meanwhile the rest of us got to tour the mansion. I never get tired of seeing all the treasures. It leaves quite an impression. Thanks for all the care and love you show to art and artists ~ we will definitely be back! Have a wonderful New Year! —

  259. we love to explore the different rooms since each room has a different personality. It’s also a very cozy place to have lunch, we will definitely do that next time. —

  260. My friend, daughter and I had a fabulous time yesterday. The Mansion is a hidden treasure and I’m glad we discovered it. The holiday decorations are wonderful, the food delicious and the unique interior design and decor are marvelous. The owners are lovely people, both hospitable and personable. We had lots of fun looking for secret doors and exploring the nooks and crannies after lunch. We even met a famous keyboardist! It was a great way to spend an afternoon and we will be back. —

  261. It was our first, but certainly NOT the last visit!!! We were very pleased with the performances and the staff were ALL very engaging and polite. If someone is reading this comment and has NEVER been to the Mansion on O Street, then by all means make it a priority to attend a show!!! Thanks again for a very good time. —

  262. Mansion on O Street is one of those Washington DC “Gems” which makes you scratch your head and say, “Why did it take me so long to discover this magical Mansion.” With over 100 rooms….only found 67 and the 70 secret doors …. only found 8 makes you want to return. Add the Showstoppers Drag Show and you have an evening of fun and laughter…. Bravo! —

  263. It was an awesome experience. We plan to go again and would highly recommend it as an interesting and fun place to go. —

  264. We had a fun time! I wish all stair cases had banisters becausecwexhad both seniors and a little one in our party. —

  265. We had a wonderful time and hope to make it a family tradition! The setting was lovely, Germaine was wonderful, the food delicious! —

  266. Since my daughter and I will be alone this xmas and I enjoyed the tour that i had the other day i decided to book the xmas eve dinner and treasure hunt. Thats how much I enjoyed my self visiting. See you tomorrow.joann —

  267. We had a fantastic experience at the O Street Mansion. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food was really superb, the room spectacular and of course our roaming around the house just made it all that much more fun. What was so really wonderful was the relaxed nature of everything. Not everything was worked out but everyone just flowed with the experience and the time just fled by – and we were all amazed we had been there for 3 1/2 hours! I think the best part was how easily it all worked – from our side. I’m sure on your side a lot of work took place in the background. We were treated as if we were the most important people in the world – we enjoyed the stories of the house – we enjoyed the spirit that we all felt while sharing your daily experiences with us. We (and myself in particular) want to thank you so much for making this memorable, enjoyable and so relaxed. I can’t remember having a party that was so much fun. We also especially thank you for letting us have our meal in the Wine Cellar – what a fantastic space and we had exactly the right number. I thought we would get board with each other and we had planned some entertainment but never got even close to have time for that to happen. I have loved the O Street Mansion for a number of years. I am friends with your old neighbors the Grimm’s who are now in Florida. I know they always attended your New Years Parties and raved about them. I hope at some point to attend one myself! —

  268. The baby shower I had planned was an amazing experience. Everyone was so helpful in making this special day the best. After we had set up in the room we were assigned, the event coordinator felt it was too cramped for everyone we had and they seamlessly moved us to a bigger room and allowed us to stay for a longer time to make up for that move. They continuously checked in on us and made sure everything was running smoothly.

I definitely felt they went above and beyond and everyone had such an amazing time and I’m sure many people who came to the event will definitely be back to visits again! —

  269. Zita was a great hostess! The food was excellent, the venue was SO interesting, and our office holiday party was a complete success because of this! -Monique Martin —

  270. What a fabulous place!! So much to see and experience……We had a great time!

    Michael & Cher —

  271. My stay at the Mansion was, again, delightful. You made me comfortable in my charming room, took good care of me and I saw many people and events that were inspiring. The Christmas spirit, this time, was lovely. There are always surprises at the Mansion, new people and experiences that take your guests out of their daily habitual experiences and into enchantment. This was no exception. Thank you so much. —

  272. Wonderful experience. Would highly recommend it. Well kept secret many more people need to experience. —

  273. We had a very fun time, found 7 secret doors! We didnt include the cubbies and nooks we found, but we sure had a lot of fun exploring the place and trying to get lost! —

  274. We had a wonderful time exploring the home. The Christmas tree in the entrance is fabulous, by the way!! —

  275. We loved our visit. We don’t think we found all the rooms available to us, but we found a lot of them. —

  276. Once fallen under the alluring charm of the O Mansion, you are hooked forever. My wife and I celebrated Thanksgiving Day 2014 at the O and felt as though we were celebrating the holiday with family and friends. The warmth and welcoming atmosphere created by Ted and H, and the entire O staff, made our holiday one to remember for the ages. Our waitperson, Germain, was especially wonderful, as he was both friendly and personable, while at the same time being attentive and professional. Many thanks to Ted, H and everyone at the O. We’ll be back soon!

    John & Erin Caslione —

  277. Thank you for the last Sunday, it was really great! Nice play, nice people and awesome atmosphere:)

  278. I want you to know how much I appreciated all that you did for my reception this afternoon! I could not have asked for a more gracious welcome for my friends who came to bury their parents at Arlington National Cemetery.
The food was perfect and Tom was attentive to all requests. Mr. Hayes checked in with us and gave my guests a lovely introduction and welcome to the Mansion.
Needless to say, they marveled at the surroundings and explored the beautiful rooms.
It always has been (perfect) for my events and this was no exception!
I look forward to seeing you soon.—

  279. The Mansion was great! Thank you so much. Room was wonderful and the Friday meal exceptional!

  280. I really enjoyed meandering through the rooms looking for hidden doors meanwhile discovering lost treasures from my childhood, like Sesame Street and Betty Boop. The collection of signed guitars is amazing… and the hats! Wow! masquerade masks, a wholeroom dedicated to the Beatles. What a great adventure!Too much to do all in one day. I’ll definitely have to come again. —

  281. We have had the most fabulous time at the O street Mansion! My husband got to play in the band that performed one Sunday. I got to explore, finding rooms w/ my 13 yr.old’s help. We shopped & are pleased with our purchase. We will def. be back to find more rooms! Thanks for making this experience a unique & pleasurable one! —

  282. super friendly welcome – awesome experience overall.best gem of DC! —

  283. A great facility to see performances. Perfectly suited the Jayhawks acoustic set. Looking forward to future events. —

  284. We had a FANTASTIC time. The museum just gives and gives with each new step you take. As one of our group said: “I felt like I have seen nothing and EVERYTHING!!!!” And to be able just to relax and enjoy–it is such a great museum experience. Can’t wait to come back to see all the new things and to find more and more secrets that are hidden in your corners!!!!Thank you for opening your home to us. —

  285. I adore the museum and can’t believe I had the opportunity to hear a band of this reknown in such an intimate setting. Thank you! —

  286. Thanks for creating a magical event for Cristina’s wedding. It was the wedding of the year and all enjoyed themselves tremendously. The food was delectable, the atmosphere was breathtaking and the service was impeccable. You really know how to ‘rock the house’!—

  287. I had the pleasure of seeing The Jayhawks here for the first time. It was an amazing show! The room was intimate and cozy, and there were just enough seats. The sound was great, and we got to meet the band after the show. It felt very personal, and the owners of O Mansion were there as well, which was so nice. This is a very special place to see a show! My only wish was that The Jayhawks had played longer! —

  288. Fabulous night. The Mansion on O Street is the hidden gem in the Washington music scene. Terrific venue, fun hosts, and a setting that is unsurpassed. Mix in great performers and you get an evening like no other. Many thanks. I will be back in 9 days for the next show. —

  289. A fantastic evening seeing one of my favorite bands in a unique setting. My first visit to the Mansion, but most definitely not my last! Can’t wait to visit again to explore! —

  290. Our tour was a howling great success!!! We had not been there before and did not know what to expect. We had a wonderful time and will be back. We did find at least seven doors (and I think it was really more) and found some very interesting rooms. We are even talking about spending the night there – that would be a real hoot!!!! Thankx for a grand time. Sharon and Poul Pedersen —

  291. I have stayed at the Mansion two times in recent weeks and I am now a total convert. There is no other place in the District of Columbia that I would rather stay at for business or pleasure. —

  292. The staff at The Manion were WONDERFUL. Prior to our event in the preparation stage, we were a pretty demanding group with all of our changes and requests, and not once did the staff there let that interfere with their professionalism and quick response. During the event itself, they took their expertise to a whole new level. Andres received rave reviews from the attendees at our reception, as well as the entire staff the night of the event. I have been asked to ensure we use this venue again for future meeting requests. A big THANKS to everyone at the Mansion O for making our event an experience to remember and talk about! JOB WELL DONE!

E.A., New York Life Insurance Company —

  293. I LOVE the mansion on O street! I went last year with my friends and brought my boyfriend this year for his birthday. It is a truly unique DC experience!! Last time I discovered twenty secret doors, and this time I somehow found only ten, yet also found 3 new rooms!! What a mystery… —

  294. Chris Berardo and the DesBerardos is always great fun and filled with high energy ….which is a perfect compliment to the creative intimacy of the Mansion. I always love feeling like Alice in Wonderland whenever I’m there and hate leaving at the end of the evening.Thank you for the experience and allowing us to share in the MAGIC of the Mansion! —

  295. The talent and humor and energy of Chris Berardo and the DesBerardos in the intimate setting of the O Mansion exceeded our expectations. That group had the energy and enthusiasm (and groupies!) of a teenage band. Soulful. The music was at the perfect sound level, we cannot wait for the next show! MC —

  296. I went to the mansion for the second time for Mustache Monday, which was a hilarious adventure. My first scavenger hunt here was fun, but the addition of mustaches, drinks and food made this one even better. I can’t think of many more fun things to do on a Monday after work than discovering a secret room behind a bookcase while wearing a mustache that makes me feel like I’m in a cartoon detective show. The rooms have the best themes, too. There’s a John Lennon room, a cabin room, a safari room, a billiards bar… we found new rooms this time and probably will never find them all.We also heard some fun history on the house itself, and found some old books and antiques. Almost everything in the house is for sale, so if you like antiquing, you can multitask. ;) My friend brought home a book, and I was tempted by several pieces of beautiful china. We’ll definitely be back, especially for another mustache Monday! —

  297. I stayed here last week, and will be staying again this week.I was very excited about my visit, based on what I’d heard – but the place exceeded my expectations.Imagine the quirkiest bed-and-breakfast you’ve ever seen – filled with weird and interesting furniture and objects, with classic rock playing in every room – Beatles, stones, paul simon, etc. etc. According to the owner, some of the music is unreleased demo and outtake tapes from their archives. If you’re looking for the polished 4 star hotel experience – professional and swanky but a bit sterile – try the Marriott or the Westin instead. If you’re looking for something a bit different, but still feels like a hotel – try a Kimpton. If you want something unique and non-corporate, try the Mansion, You’ll feel more like a guest of your slightly batty aunt than a corporate drone looking for a quiet night’s sleep… Everything is a bit different, right down to the plumbing, which was, for me, a really great deep soaking whirlpool tub and a fantastic shower housed in a telephone booth with six separate powerful jets. —

  298. What a fun and awe inspiring place! I felt just like a kid again; all excited and full of wonder. —

  299. Harry thank you again for the great night and I really love you club!!!

Ted I will be back soon your place it’s amazing.

  300. It was really fantastic. The venue is great and the staff was extremely helpful. All of my guest felt special and that was the best part. I highly recommend having an event at the Mansion at least once. —

  301. The Tour was awesome! We found 5 secret doors! We really want to come back again and see if we can find more when different rooms are open. I would also love to bring friends here.

  302. Such a gem in DC! The mansion is so unique and is a great getaway from the typical hustle-and-bustle of the Smithsonian museums, national monuments, etc. We found several hidden doors but I must admit I was expecting a bit more (apparently if you find two you are already “above average”), but who knows–a return visit might reveal completely new portions of the house! —

  303. It’s extremely difficult to find anything wrong with The Mansion. I love the attention Ted pays to the guests. I also like the humility of the proprietors; they still take a very active part in the day-to-day operations of the business. The Mansion itself is a self-admitted wonder that needs no further glorification. It’s frickin amazing. I’ll be back several more times until i find at least 50 of those secret doors, and i’m bringing friends and family with me each time. —

  304. What a unique, happy, creative place! We had a great time! Yes, the Mansion on O is filled with one of a kind items and secret doors but (for me) it is mainly about gracious, inclusive people who invite you into their world and make you feel like one of their own. Trust me – you want to be included!! —

  305. WOW!! I don’t know what I was expecting….but you guys WOWED me!!
I LOVED THE MANSION & I can’t wait to bring friends there to WOW them too!!

  306. Oh my…………where to begin. This was the absolute best show ever!! My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard, and I hadn’t laughed like that in forever. The entertainment was beyond funny. The audience interaction was hysterical. The ladies of Drag kept us entertained the entire time. The Mansion O was also a one of a kind place like no other. We only had about an hour to do the scavenger hunt, because we lived so far away, however, we made the best of that time. There was so much to see, and so many things we missed. Next time, I’m coming back earlier, with more money for tips and to have dinner!! Kudos to the whole staff and Drag ladies who made the evening and our first time out without our son in years truly memorable. Plus my husband had the lip stick marks on both cheeks to prove he really is beyond a good sport. Thanks to all!

    Wendy —

  307. I thoroughly enjoyed finding the secret doors and watching others discover them as well. The staff was phenomenal assisting our special needs group, and our package did not include a guided tour. I can’t wait to visit with my family and friends. This was truly a memorable life experience, that I will share with others for many years to come. —

  308. We enjoyed ourselves very much. It was a celebration for our good friends whom recently married and we had not been able to get together for sometime.

All in all I would highly recommend the experience and we will be back.
    Stephen A Robinson —

  309. huge thanks to all of you

I just want to add that the birthday cake was fantastic – we had some for breakfast this morning —

  310. The Party was a huge success and everyone had a great time. The Mansion and its staff were a huge part of that. The food and drinks were all outstanding, and the Mansion, of course, is a party all by itself! Please thank everyone for me. I want to turn 50 again there next year! —

  311. The Treasure Hunt was so fun. And I’ll definitely be back to try to find more secret doors! —

  312. Mansion at O is my #1 place for taking out of town guests and also to introduce suburban family and friends to DC. The Mansion has never failed me as the hit of a visit to “see the relatives – no matter what age.” —

  313. What a fun bunch of stuff to sift through!

I enjoyed my wander through the house. People were all so pleasant and willing to help.

A scavenger hunt would have been helpful – I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff and the hallways and rooms leading into room – I was never really sure if I had covered everything a could.

    And the champagne was fabulous!

    LampMom —

  314. We had a FANTASTIC time. Once we discovered the 1st door, it made us want to find more. After 2 hours we had found 7 doors although we must admit to having help with 2 of them.We also enjoyed trying on hats in different rooms and taking “selfies” to show our friends. We will definitely recommend that they visit to have fun and try to find even more doors than we did. —

  315. Breakfast was wonderful. My daughter who is 12 LOVED the waffles. I had an freshly made omelet, and it was delicious! Great selection of fruit and sweet breads. Staff was helpful and on top of refilling glasses when needed.

    Megan G —

  316. Great variety and selection. Service was pleasant and friendly. —

  317. A truly unique adventure. The rooms and secret passages were fascinating and the staff was delightful. —

  318. Thank you very much for the time attention given to every detail of this event, it surpassed my expectations (and I helped plan it)! My guests were treated with kindness and consideration as if they were in my own home.

I would like to mention that two newborns attended, and this was one of their first parties. The staff accommodated the needs of the Moms and their new babies with grace and privacy. H herself supervised the transition of one infant from the car to the house, and made the elevator available to them.

Our baby shower at the Mansion is a lasting memory for my growing family, and established a warm first welcome to my little grandson expected on October 6th.

    Brenda Helen Sheingold —

  319. As we did on our first visit, we had a great time with you at the Mansion. Immersing ourselves in your phantasmagoric alternative universe is always a profoundly disorienting experience, but it’s always great to shake up our everyday perceptions by realizing the world is a vast and varied place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We were with you during the Germany – Argentina World Cup Final, and it was a pleasure during the extra time period at the end to hang around and watch the outcome — that sense of relaxation and homey-ness is a part of what makes the Mansion a special place. I can’t wait to return for our next visit — I have a few friends I’d like to introduce to your special little corner of heaven.

    Roger Miller, Alexandria, Virginia

P.S. I hope I’m not in trouble with you — I strummed a Dylan-signed guitar (on the third floor, I think?) just so I could say I played Bob’s guitar. No harm done, but that’s definitely a notch in my pistol. You guys are the best. —

  320. This was my first time there and I absolutely loved it! —

  321. We received a gift certificate for the Mansion on O as a wedding gift, which we redeemed last weekend. I could not say enough nice things about this lovely and unique hotel, our kind and attentive hosts, and their amazing and friendly staff. When we arrived, we were greeted by Ted, one of the owner/founders, who gave us a great tour of the mansion. We had a fun chat with him about music (the Deja Vu room plays all unreleased versions and samples of classic artists, for instance – when he heard my husband played the guitar, Ted played a sample of Jimmy Page working on “Stairway to Heaven” – fantastic). We were then shown several potential guest rooms available to us, each lovely and unique in its own way, and were allowed to pick which room we would like (we chose “The Fifth Dimension”). We had a blast exploring and a wonderful night’s sleep – I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub whilst my husband luxuriated in the huge walk-in shower with 3 jets. The location is great, short walk to Dupont Circle and lots of fun bars and restaurants. We savored the fabulous Sunday brunch buffet which was offered to us at half price since we were hotel guests. Then we went on the 4 floor scavenger hunt which we both got a huge kick out of (found *almost* everything!) We also found a lot of books and some other knick-knacks to take home with us (everything in the mansion is for sale). I could go on and on. Highly recommended to anyone. We hope to make it a yearly pilgrimage. Next time I am going to bring my swimsuit so I can enjoy their gorgeous saltwater pool. —

  322. It’s fun to wind through the rooms & explore this kitschy gem in the heart of Dupont Circle. —

  323. the kids had a ball and I did too! !They found many secret doors and loved wandering the house. Such great way to spend the day!! —

  325. Quiet and Comfortable I slept like a baby, wish i had had more time to look around..will be back —

  326. Thank you Andres and all of the staff for a wonderful party! The girls and parents had a great time. Your attention to detail and personal service was exceptional. You were so kind to provide sugar-free treats for our diabetic guests and a surprise birthday cake for the birthday girl. The girls loved it!

Thank you so much for making our celebration so much fun and so special!

  327. Our House of Hats stay was beyond description!
You took such good care of us.

  329. Wonderful band, intimate atmosphere. It seemed the band enjoyed it as much as the audience did. —

  330. We loved it. So many things to look at,I know we missed stuff. Looking for secret doors was great. Had my grand kids 13 and 4 And they both enjoyed it. —

  331. We had a wonderful time at Father’s Day Brunch. The food was fantastic, but my favorite part of brunch was the fantastic staff. So friendly and interesting to talk to. Of course we also loved our scavenger hunt and finding new books and treasures to take home. You all are the best. —

  332. We brought our 2 granddaughters to the Mansion for lunch/tour as a high-school graduation present. They were delighted and we had a wonderful experience.
We arrived at Noon and were seated immediately for lunch. The food was really exceptional and of course the atmosphere thrilling. —

Your staff is great and catered to our every need…….kudos O street mansion for an exceptional staff and an intriguing place to explore!!

  334. 5 Stars for sure and of course we want to tell you that we loved it and the buffet has to stay..that is the best! Got the troops off to Bonoroo..what a flea circus..the AZ,CO. boys had a back pack each and the wicked city boys almost had their flat screen and sofas..what a contrast! The weather had been wonderful and hopefully we’ll see them (and you! again) soon. Thanks again for another wonderful treat. Love from all the Vitek family..and next time we’ll pick a blues Sunday for our guitar players..we didn’t want to horrify the symphony! —

  336. Just a short note to say how special staying at the Mansion made my trip to DC.

Being with you and “H” was simply a delight. I look forward to seeing you again real soon.

Thanks so much and have a great week!

    Norm Long, Marriott International

  338. We really enjoy the show and have not stop talking about how much fun we had. I plan on bring a few friends so they can experience it. —

  339. A fantastic setting for our team-building retreat. The Mansion staff delivered on every aspect of what we were promised, and the snacks, lunch, and beverages were “above and beyond.” It was also a fun experience for my staff, who enjoyed settling into deep comfortable furniture for our group discussions — and then wandering around in awe of the place during their breaks. All at a very reasonable price. Thank you!

  340. My friend and I came to the O Street Museum on a bit of a whim, and both LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! It is so unique and so much fun, and the staff is genuinely welcoming and makes you feel very relaxed. The doors are PRETTY hard to find, so that was a fun puzzle. In about 2 hours, we only found 6 of the 70! I am definitely going to be coming back. [: —

  341. We had a lovely brunch on Sunday — the selection was amazing, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I especially loved the dessert selection — absolutely delicious! We enjoyed listening to the ensemble afterwards, and always enjoy the creative decor. :)

  342. another stupendous afternoon getting lost in the mansion . . . i always hope not to find everything on the scavenger hunt, because then it’s over —

  343. Thanks so much for making the graduation tea party such a rousing success. Andres was attentive, as was the entire staff. The food and aesthetics were just right. All the guests raved about the fun they had. I hope that generates further business for you. It was one of the highlights of our daughter’s graduation weekend. Best regards, Mrs. Shawn Brevard —

  344. The staff at the museum were really fantastic and the group I was with had a lot of fun going through the different rooms searching for doors. This was my third time going, two other people in my group were visiting the museum for a second time and three people were visiting for the first time but we all discovered something new in the rooms. It was great and we all look forward to going again with other friends who haven’t been. —

  345. We had another great brunch. Your omelet man was really good tracking so many orders and efficiently executing flawlessly! Your buffet was a wonderful & plentiful variety and of course the tour was interesting. it was a great time for all :-) Thanks Mansion! —

  346. A hidden gem among the many museums of DC, O Street is refreshingly creative and arguably the most interactive place in town. Unlike so many museums in DC that want you to keep your distance, O Street encourages you to explore, interact with, and even acquire their unique artifacts! —

  347. We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. It’s hard to believe that we began our marriage five years ago at The Mansion. Friends and family are still talking about our reception.

As expected, the food and service were excellent. I had filet mignon and my husband had salmon. The best ever. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Q. He is terrific and so humble. Geoff and I also had the pleasure of talking with H and Ted. It was great spending some time with them. —

  348. We had a wonderful time at your Mother’s Day brunch. The food was extremely delicious and creative. The desert area was just as impressive with a chocolate Capital building and purse cakes.

We also did the scavenger hunt. The Mansion has some really cool rooms. We had a lot of fun hunting for the secret doors and rooms. Our favorite room was hidden off the kitchen. It was a great way to send Mother’s Day.

  349. Great time and great concept!we didn’t know what to expect but were nicely surprised..just wish we had more time to find all the secret doors. Loved the french wine cellar and the chinese antiques! Great place..nothing else like it! —

  350. Best experience I had in DC. Eric Fulton was amazing and extremely helpful. —

  351. I absolutely loved my visit here. The themed rooms were incredible and my group was able to locate a wine cellar with some amazing wine options for sale. Overall, it was an amazing experience! Definitely will have to go again to find more rooms! —

  352. Fantastic! Could not have been a better evening. Appreciate the personal attention from H throughout the rehearsal dinner, and the lovely honeymoon suite after our wedding. The Mansion made us feel like rock stars! —

  353. Beloved H & Ted, Thank you so much for all of your kindnesses to me! I loved my stay, and hope to be back sometime soon. Much love & light to you, Dr. Sandra McLanahan

  354. Ted,

Another enjoyable and productive stay at the Mansion. My only regret was I forgot to bring back my two books of poetry for H to sign. I will remember next time.

    John N. Randall —

  355. I just wanted to write to say thank you for hosting the closing dinner for our group of Pakistani Fulbrighters on March 29th at the O Street Mansion. The participants truly enjoyed the meal and the self-guided tour. We look forward to hosting similar programs with you in the future.—

  356. We had so much fun looking for the secret doors that we forgot about the scavenger hunt! It was such a great experience that we will be back with more people. —

  357. Our family did the self-guided treasure hunt, and it was fantastic. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we are so happy we decided to visit. It’s fun for all ages: our group ranged from ages 7 to 55, and we had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely come back! —

  358. Zipcar held our 2nd Quarter business event with our top accounts and it was smashing success. The staff was engaging and professional, the food was absolutely fantastic and our guests had a great time. Thanks so much! —

  359. We had a wonderful time, as always, at the Easter brunch! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our meal and ALL the delicious selections. My mother and friends Bill and Bruce had never had the opportunity to experience The Mansion and what fun Bill and Bruce had especially. You all have been so kind to my mother who, at 94 years, is blind and uses a wheelchair due to mobility challenges. It’s such a pleasure to spend time at The Mansion and thank you all for creating such a welcoming, magical place.

    See you soon,

    Susan Collins —

  360. I had a great time visiting the Mansion and thoroughly enjoyed the decor! Searching for the hidden doors was tough but exciting! I definitely would come back and bring others with me so they can enjoy it as well. The staff is also very kind and welcoming. —

  362. Had a fantastic time! Planning on bringing my grandchildren next time!!Told several people this weekend about this place. Great time !! —

  363. I brought my 7 year old daughter to the O St Mansion over spring break to look for secret doors and it was a hit! We found 9 secret doors. She is really into mysteries and felt like a real-life kid detective. We also loved the time the proprietor spent with us. —

  364. What a delightful evening. A magical place filled with joyful, creative energy. We loved it. —

  365. My kids want to live at O Street Mansion – life here at home now pales in comparison. My four-year-old can’t wait for the power to go out again, so we can stay at the Mansion, where the electricity never falters. The only question is how soon we’ll be coming back.

  366. We were very pleased with our stay, and have recommended The Mansion to several of our friends..see you HALLOWEEN! —

  367. The coolest hotel in DC! Eric was great, roaming the halls of the Mansion was fun, picking up guitars, tuning and playing them was great. Very quiet and peaceful for a downtown location.

Looking forward to my next stay, plan to bring others to your facility.

    All the best,

  368. A friend recommended that we visit the O Museum. He took his kids there and they loved it. Our kids had a good time. Fun place! —

  369. My experience was “ically”
magically charming and bewitching in its ambiance
mystically special beyond what the senses can imagine
comically sweet with statues and objects oozing with creativity
musically alive with memories of famous artists such as John Lennon
physically energizing, climbing stairs and moving through attached townhouses
atypically yummy with chef surprises in every mouthful
ontologically revealing the existential essence of the variety of life
    whimsicallly surprising in each corner
    intrinsically beautiful through the core

    Thank you again,
    Teri-E —

  370. Fun way to spend an afternoon! I enjoyed searching for hidden doors (I found at least 7!) and checking out the decor. Eric at the front was very helpful and made the experience memorable. —

  371. I wanted to thank you H, and Ted for making the experience at the Mansion a huge success! We had so much fun and everyone was so impressed.

The food was terrific and I did notice that despite our in ability to afford cookies in the budget, you all offered them for us anyway. Thank you so, so much for the kind gestures and hospitality!

Mariam (my wife) and I will be visiting soon in May, we have already booked a dinner for 2 at the Mansion! We can’t wait to see you all again. —

  372. Great musicians in a great setting. This is a favorite DC event of mine. —

  373. Thank you for all your help. The artists have had a great time staying at your
place. And thank you for generously allowing us to use your facilities late at night.
The time the artists and I spent at O Mansion will be a memory we will cherish
for the rest of our lives. —

  374. They LOVED it tonight. Was so fun for me to see their delight and wonder and what you and Ted have created. Thank you for making me look good once again! —

  375. We were utterly charmed by the mansion. The salmon entre was superb and the carrot cake lovely.

We will be back for a mansion tour one day soon! —

  376. It was an amazing experience for me (local) and my collegues who traveled from all over the US for a conference in DC. Exploing the mansion was our team building event and it impressed everyone!

There was nothing but high praise for the mansion as well as the staff who were extreemly curtious and friendly.

Long live the Mansion on O! —

  377. My husband and I had a wonderful rendezvous at the mansion and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations–Sunday brunch was fantastic! The experience was fun and romantic… Thank you! —

  378. We had heard great things about the O Street mansion experience. You lived up to your advance billing. Great buffet – very interesting tour of the facility. We’ll be back. —

  380. We had a wonderful time. The food was good and the wait staff was outstanding! Our teenaged grand daughters even asked to make another visit soon.

    Thank you!
    Mark and Victoria —

  381. I would like to thank you and all of your wonderful staff for helping us make our Surprise Birthdays a reality. I truly appreciate all your help and effort, as a result, the afternoon was a great success. Everything was above and beyond our expectations, from decoration of the room, treasure hunt, food, and warmth of your hearts.
Great thank you again from all of us to all of you!!!

  382. I want to thank you again for the excellent job you did for my husband’s 60th birthday party! I look forward to coming back to the Mansion in the near future. —

  383. Great hospitality, with guided tour around the hotel. Food was also great. We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. —

  384. The Mansion’s unconventionality is great for fostering creativity – because anyone going to the Mansion isn’t going to feel judged, since the place itself defies so many norms.

  385. What a fun and fascinating experience, I feel like I missed a ton and I can’t wait to go back and explore more! Thank you! —

  386. Words cannot express the amazing experience of getting married at the mansion. The people are as colorful as the opulent decor. Our guests raved about our one of a kind wedding and we were so impressed with the attention to detail. I left with a new wife and recharged to begin creating again. —

  387. Great time with a bunch of talented musicians. Wonderful instrument collection, especially that Gibson Hummingbird. —

  388. We did the O’Kids Playdate today and had SO MUCH FUN!! Our kids are 8 and 3 and they enjoyed seeing all the different themed rooms. There is a lot to see and do in the mansion. Our son was so proud of himself when he found 2 of the secret doors all by himself. We could have spent all day there, and probably would have if we didn’t have another appointment this afternoon. We highly recommend coming to the O Street Mansion.

  389. In praise of Eric.

The house has a great number of wonderful employees, and I love interacting with every one– making coffee very early in the morning with a smile, parking cars very late in the evening with a smile, making and serving food throughout the day with a smile, wandering the halls keeping the lights on with a smile… each and everyone of them contributes to the overall wonderful feeling that I have each and every time I cross your magical threshold. That said, I want to specifically mention what a great job Eric does there. His combination of warmth and efficiency is so comforting. While I feel more like family than a guest, I realize that there are so many little things that happen in order for me to always stay so euphoric– and this time I got to see Eric doing a lot of them.

So thanks to all the staff at the Mansion, and this trip– especially Eric!

    -Tom —

  390. For the price, I definitely walked in with expectations – and of course you exceeded them! Everything was delicious, the omelette station host was wonderfully attentive, service was exemplary, and the desert table was both amazing and dangerously close to taking over the rest of the buffet… Not that we mind!

After brunch we did the treasure hunt and I haven’t had so much fun in a long while. My guests were all just as pleased. Thank you for a fantastic time! —

  391. This was a perfect way to end our “surprise wedding” weekend. We invited about 20 friends and family to join us for Sunday Brunch on the morning after. The set up was one very long table in the main room where we, just 12 hours earlier, had our wedding and reception. (These guys must never sleep!).

I’ve been to terrific brunch spreads before but this one is unprecedented, in my book. There is very large breakfast station and an even larger lunch station in another room. Many of the features you have seen before—omelet station (My Aunt Joyce proclaimed it to be the “best omelet ever!”), fruits, pastries, breads, salad, breakfast and luncheon meats, etc., but the quantity, quality, and diversity of the offerings was what our crowd loved the most. Mac & Cheese with bacon? Yes, please! Chocolate fountain? Don’t mind if I do! Plus: unlimited Mimosas. All of it delicious.
The brunch is $45 a person which may seem a bit high, but for what you get as well as the reason you would go (for a special occasion like a birthday, anniversary, graduation, Mother’s Day, etc.) it’s perfect. And be honest: you really only do a big sprawling Sunday brunch every so often, so go for it! —

  392. Enjoyed taking selfies with the wax figures. Nice snack table, especially the healthy pineapple and strawberries. It was so peaceful and calming to be able to leisurely walk through the rooms. I found a Lennon bio I hadn’t yet read in the John Lennon room and sat in there reading it while listening to that wonderful CD of unreleased demos. I also heard an amazing demo in another room of John singing “Yes It Is” with just his guitar, before he’d written all the lyrics. Loved it! The staff was warm and hospitable as always. Thank you for a nice evening. —

  393. I really enjoyed it and the fact that is was just very easy going and in a completely informal relaxed setting. So thank you very much and we will surely visit again. All the best, Vanena WILMOT —

  394. We had a wonderful time and it’s always fun to share the Mansion with “newbies”! —

  395. Fabulous! The group really enjoyed it and the wine room was perfect! I was able to retrieve the artwork purchased by one of our execs, too. The staff was excellent as well!

    Valerie Johnson —

  396. My sincere thanks to everyone at Omansion for making my girls fee like true princesses! They loved every minute of it, and can’t wait to revisit! Thanks, again.

Wonderful place, wonderful people and wonderful music…

    Sandra Leiner —

The food was delicious, the service was splendid, and here just a few of the adjectives our attendees used in their evaluations of the venue:
“astonishing”, “DAZZALING”, “Fabulous”, “Fun”, “AMAZING” and “Wondrous”!

Hat’s off to Zita, Sally, Ted and the entire staff for making this event such a great success. Needless to say, I can’t wait to host another event at The Mansion on O Street.

  399. Had an awesome time; the mansion is always the highlight of our trips from Tennessee. Sat in on an awesome blues jam too as a bass just happened to be available! —

  400. 45 of us, ranging in age from 5 to 50, attended the O Street Mansion and everyone had a wonderful time. It was a unique way to spend an afternoon. It felt like you were in a dream, but were awake the whole time. There was so much to see and just roaming from room to room was great fun. We hope to come back some time to stay in one of the rooms! —

  401. It surpassed my expectations. The adults were impressed by all the memorabilia, antiques and decorations while the kids were intrigued trying to find the secret doors! Two hours went quickly! The adults will definitely go back to take a look on their own or perhaps try a different tour. —

  402. The mansion was amazing! The service we received from everyone there was top notch. I’ve already told my friends about it, and I can’t wait to go back. —

  403. A hidden gem in a city filled with a tremendous amount of things to do. A definitely must for both visitors and locals. —

  404. The treasure hunt was a great way to explore the mansion and the food was absolutely delicious. Although I had been to the mansion before, it was my fiance’s first time, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. —

  405. The Mansion is amazing, truly a unique way to celebrate in the DC area. Our friends and family were blown away that we found this jewel, and had a great time exploring the mansion. The food was excellent and the room perfect, it afforded us the privacy to enjoy our lunch. Thanks so much! —

  407. We had a great time- just loved the everything about it. there is no doubt we will definitely come back! Thanks! —

  408. It could not have been more perfect for our board meeting – inspirational, fun, and creative. We were welcomed with drinks at the bar, made to feel like we were real VIPs by the incredible GM Andreas. The food was terrific, service was amazing, and the house, well, that was the real treat. —

  409. Live band was great, touring the mansion was great, we had a 3 month old with us and that went off without a hitch

The squash bisque soup was very good. The desserts were great.

Everyone was friendly and hospitable! —

  410. It’s like being a kid again- exploring all the secret passageways and different rooms. I absolutely loved it. -Sarah Girgis —

  411. The freedom alloted to the guests to freely explore the mansion made the experience second to none. I and my group had an amazing time and plan to return. Thank you for a great experience! —

  412. the bartending staff was great.> All staff very nice.> Really enjoyed the differences in the Mansion from one visit to the next. I always tell people it is never the same place twice. —

  413. Sunday, Feb 9 — It was a cold night and I was feeling under the weather, but I came out anyway because a concert at the Mansion is not to be missed! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from Terez, who checked my coat, to [the Black woman whose name I didn’t get] who manned the snacks table, to Ted, who’s always a joy to chat with about music. This was my second TC show at the Mansion, and as before, Tom was warm, humble, and approchable. It was fun to see that stately edifice rockin’ with Deadheads in tie-dye!I’m a big fan of the Mansion, particularly as a music venue. I’ve been fortunate to have seen some great shows there, and I only wish there could be more. Thanks for another memorable evening.Deborah —

  414. I brought a group of 14 to tour the Mansion for a birthday party activity. Our group loved the experience and everyone kept saying what a fun activity it was for everyone! We enjoyed checking out all of the pictures and tchotchkes and some of us even found books we couldn’t leave without. I can’t thank Eric enough for his help with our group. He helped make the event run smoothly and I appreciated that. Everyone in the Mansion was very nice to us and we had such a positive experience. Many thanks to all the staff! —

  415. Everyone I’ve talked to that came to the dinner absolutely loved it. The NSF Program Chair said he thought he knew every restaurant in Washington, but Thursday was his first time there. He thoroughly enjoyed the tour and dinner.

Thanks for your help in making it a night to remember! —

  416. Second time at The Mansion with a different friend and she said this, ” the ambiance perfect, food delicious and the hot chocolate sinful.” This was also my first time trying the omlette bar and the chef who I believe is Parisian was a delight. Please tell him specifically “Votre nourriture était délicieuse et votre personnalité agréable.” Another great time at the Mansion. We were there for almost three hours and enjoyed every minute. —

  417. we were cordially welcomed upon arrival. My visit included two 11 yo girls who were enthralled with every aspect of our visit. —

  418. OMG!!!!!! This was SSSOOOO wonderful! The food was terrific and everything tasted as amazing as it looked! The ambiance of the place was beautiful. It was also fun at the same time. Women were allowed to wear some of the gorgeous hats that were available for sale and it made the brunch very festive.

The service was excellent and we never had to ask for anything, it was always brought before we could ask. I had a great time and we will be back soon!

    Thanks for the great time.
    Kathy August

  419. Really wonderful. The log cabin room is particularly incredible! We especially liked how each floor had its own flavor, a flavor that we felt even extended to all the rooms upon it. The House manages a remarkable balance of museum, gallery, and attic. We didn’t pay for the brunch, but it looked very enticing. —

  420. This was our second time staying at the mansion and it was a WONDERFUL experience! Ted and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the mansion itself is so fun and ecclectic, and the brunch was delicious! I routinely recommend the mansion to those that have not yet heard of it and I look forward to our next visit there! —

  421. I had no idea what to expect, and the house was lovely. The sense of exploration was strong, and all of us left very happy with our experience. —

  422. Everyone had so much fun, it made my job much easier in terms of talking work with my colleagues J

Thank you so much for your help in making this happen – everything was perfect and the food was amaaaaazing!

  423. To Ted and H,

You’ve created and maintained a truly unique and inspirational environment; universally enjoyable from pedestrian to intellectual…

    Many Thanks,

  424. Arranging the event was made easy by event planner. Sally answered our every question and any problems we thought we had in planning, she settled them right away!
We appreciate the wonderful service the staff provided us – They were friendly and polite! The food was amazing! I don’t think any of us has ever eaten so much dessert in our lives, it wasn’t too sweet it was just right! The exploring of rooms and the discoveries of the secret doors was a lot of fun! (We found only a fraction of the secret doors) – we are planning on coming back to explore some more!
One of our staff members father from Europe has put the mansion on his list of future visits when he comes back!
Everyone felt they have found a gem in Washington, D.C., and plan many visits to come in the future. —

  425. A unique special experience that left one feeling that they belong to a time gone by; that could be relived with fun and a carefree spirit that warms one’s soul. —

  426. This was my first time at the Mansion brunch and everything was perfect. The service-friendly. The food ( in particular the sinfully delicious macaroni and cheese and yes they have it with bacon too) delightful. The ambiance was one of joy, good spirits, intrigue and fun. Brunch is my favorite meal and I highly recommend this place. —

  427. So much fun! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our self-guided tour completely, especially when we discovered secret doors. Thanks for a magical time! —

An incredible evening we are so appreciative for the hospitality and professionalism we were shown, it really helped make the experience amazing for our team. This is definitely going to be hard to beat :) Ms. Leonards is truly a unique, creative and inspiring woman for putting together such an amazing venue (great team as well)! Thank you for a spectacular evening. —

  430. Thank you so much for helping me put on a very special dinner last night! It was a huge success and everyone, especially my sister, had such an incredible time! The food was spectacular – I mean absolutely and wonderfully delicious! I was very pleased with how it all turned out. Thank you for your attention to detail and your recommendations. I am certain you have found life-long supporters of the Mansion from within our party. Thank you again! —

  431. Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback. Overall, the event was top-notched, exceeded expectations and most importantly a good time. This was the first event for The Education Trust at the venue and here were our highlights: 1. The staff from pre-planning and especially onsite were highly patient, gracious and flexible with our ever-changing needs. 2. The food was AMAZING as promised. Some staff favorites included the chicken, as well as the delicious, diverse and nut/gluten friendly dessert extravaganza. The staff really enjoyed anything chocolate and the cheesecake. 3. The venue looked amazing ( yes, it always looked amazing) but as an organization that traditionally had this event in a private home — the venue and how the staff interacted with us really replicated what we are use too. 4. The tour is worth every minute, every second. All of the staff (from adults to children) found it interesting, intriguing and quite honestly some of them started dinner later or ended it earlier to go back around for a second time. Anyone having an event here. Do the tour? Seriously. Take your time. The only constructive comment ( and this is minor ) is that on occasion some felt rushed through the buffet but that is probably because they wanted to take their time and grab more food. So what I can share with others considering this venue is this. Let them plan your event their way and it will all work out. It was worry free, delicious and pleasant. The Mansion on O Street made good on their promise and we will be back this year. Melva, Director of Meetings & Conferences, The Education Trust ps. A special thanks to every single person who worked our event. They were professional, fun, generous and kind. They were what one wants when receiving service.—

  432. Thank you so much for an absolutely lovely evening. The facility, staff, food were nothing short of amazing. Our attendees were very complimentary of the event. We plan on returning to the O Street mansion as a company as well as individually. I will absolutely recommend the O Street mansion for ANY occasion . H, it truly was a pleasure!

    Kind Regards,

  433. Had SUCH a fun, adventurous experience at Mansion on O. We did the self-guided tour for our first time, but next time I will definitely do Brunch, Tea and Cakes, or Happy Hours, or maybe all of the above. Thanks! —

  434. Perfect “get-away” museum, with tons of things to reflect on plus the secret doors are a gas, gas, gas. Parking can be a challenge, so consider the valet parking. We went over Christmas break, with adult children and brother-in-law. We moved individually, but often met up to discover new rooms and things to see. Memorabilia to the hilt. We spent 2-3 hours and likely did not see everything. Would recommend to anyone visiting DC – a real gem. —

  435. I have lived in this area for over 50 years, but had never heard of your mansion before. The tour was certainly a lot of fun, and the whole idea of operation is definitely unique. My compliments to the staff!P. Evans —

  436. We did the New Year’s Treasure Hunt as part of a bachelorette day. We had so much fun exploring the house, trying to find the objects, and searching for the hidden doors. Our group stayed for 2.5 hours because we had to get to our next event, but we could have stayed a lot longer. We will definitely be back. —

  437. Zita’s warm welcome and introduction made the experience feel personalized and special. —

  438. The jam was great! The musicians were friendly, engaging, and very impressive. It was a warm, welcoming experience. —

  439. This was my first time at the Mansion on O and I loved the old style architecture and the layout of the rooms. The modern square and plain architectures can be so boring. Loved the little secret passage ways and the surprises. Some of the rooms were just amazing.
Really enjoyed the NYE party. I am obsessed with the chandeliers, so a number of them lit in different colors really added a fun touch to the night for me. And the DJ was awesome, kept us in the great mood all evening.

    Thank you,
    Salome —

  440. It was AMAZING!!!! There was so much to see and to do. You have to keep your eyes open to see everything on the treasure hunt list. And everything is for sale! So if you see something you love—buy it because there are some wonderful and unique things! We plan to go back quite often because the exhibits change all the time! Kathy August —

  441. Enjoyed this “off the beaten path” attraction.” It was fun and brought the inner kid out. I’ll definitely come back with others when I visit DC again! —

  442. As always loved our visit to the Mansion and the NYE party was SO much fun! Can’t wait to come back again and again! —

  443. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and will definitely visit in the future! —

  444. Best party ever! Food was delicious and everyone was so friendly and helpful ! Loved the treasure hunt, party favors, kissing both – so entertaining! what a great way to end the year! Thank you O Mansion! —

  445. The experience we had as a family here was great…one of a kind. So nice to take our time and explore the whole house. A hidden gem in DC! —

  446. This place is fun and quirky. Pleasantly surprised that it was not packed with people. I’m looking forward to visiting again for brunch. We just took the self-guided tour but it was a lot of fun to look for the secret doors. A great fun place to visit and not your usual Washington D.C. stuff. —

  447. We had such a great time. Thank you for the wonderful experience!! The mansion is beautiful. —

  448. This was my 4th visit to the mansion, my girlfriend and I went to try and find all we could. The Mansion is amazing and we are coming back to spend much more time there. If you haven’t been than let me assure you it’s the best date in DC. Go with an open mind and you will have a blast —

  449. The O Street Museum is a very pleasant place to go, all the rooms have a unique style filled with all sorts of interesting books, paintings, vinyls, ornaments, musical instruments, photos, etc. There is art everywhere, fun everywhere, good music, good atmosphere. Thumbs up! :)

  450. I opted for the self guided Champagne tour. It was wonderful. There was so much to see and too little time. I will be back. Thank you for a great day. —

  451. We had a wonderful time! My 17 year old son really had fun! We will definitely be back. We found 6 doors! Next trip we will take the guided tour. —

  452. Its been a tradition to visit the Mansion on Christmas Eve now going on 4 years or so – this was the first for our 6 week old! Staff really made our Christmas Eve dinner very special – especially for our 3 year old daughter who was showered in compliments by everyone on duty. She was on cloud nine and even found a nice teddy bear to take home. The food, egg nog, and desserts were the icing on the cake. We look forward to continuing this tradition for many, many years…thanks for making it such a nice way to bring our family together for food and fun. —

  453. I think this a great addition to D.C. Culture and the whole staff all around was very nice and pleasant. Great experience overall! THANK YOU!! —

  454. The ambiance was spectacular…very festive. The brunch had great food and was displayed beautifully. We had a lovely time at the mansion. It was a very special day. —

  455. I have been here several times and each time it get’s better!I have even brought other family and friends…completely in awe…still can’t find all those secret doors!!!! —

  456. We held our company holiday party here at the Mansion on O Street and had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The tour afterwards was awesome and intriguing. We definitely recommend it! —

  457. It was fantastic I loved it. The only thing i can say is I wish here were railings on the stair cases. —

  458. Dear H,

It’s rare for me to sign on for something that I’m not sure what I’m getting into. And because, for me, entertaining is an extension of myself – it would be out of the question for me to sign on for something for which I don’t have complete control. Nevertheless, my instinct was to trust that hosting my party at The Mansion would be a good move – and it definitely was.

Obviously, everyone was blown away by The Mansion. And all of the other elements were terrific: food, presentation, etc. But I want to focus this email on your staff. They were extraordinary. Guests remarked about your staff, which is usually not something a guest would remark on. Individually and collectively they were super-friendly, welcoming, accommodating, professional and, well, just plain ole’ nice. And who wouldn’t fall in love with Andres? This took all the wonderful elements of the party up a few more notches.

As the day wore on, we gradually (count my emails to you!) went from 60 to 43. And I was grateful so many friends traipsed downtown on the ice. Thank you for all the last minute accommodations (with the chair & table take-aways) for that.

And e-mails and calls are already streaming in from my friends about the party. Everyone is raving about all the things a hostess wants them to rave about.

    Again- I thank you,
    Joyce —

  459. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed exploring the mansion. The Mansion staff was amazing through the whole planning process and during the event- very responsive and helpful. The food was delicious – the dessert bar was unbelievable! Thanks for making our holiday party memorable! I know many of our staff will be returning to explore. —

  460. The only way we can describe our event yesterday is “magical.” EVERYONE had an amazing time, and the staff was unbelievable–they were there every minute for everything we needed, and always smiling. The food was delicious, incredible, magnificent and ENDLESS!! People can’t stop talking about the experience. You are truly a miracle in DC and we hope that you will see us all again at different times during the year–I am so delighted to find you!!!
    Leni Ward —

  461. I can’t ever remember having attended any event in my life that I can’t stop talking about. Please know how grateful we all are for the incredible experience (that’s the only word that begins to do it justice) that you gave us today. In fact, you gave us all more than an experience, you gave us a memory to keep looking back on with happiness. My only regret is that the weather kept some of our group home (their loss), so they missed the wonderful food and people you all are at the Mansion. Besides the amazing food, the great work you do touches me deeply. I am so glad that you and the Mansion came into my life, and I will certainly be back with my family. I immediately called my son and daughter and talked on and on about the tapes Ted so kindly played for me. I seriously don’t know how to stop talking about this but, in reality, I hope I never do. It was not only the whole experience, it was like we were all with family because you made everyone feel very special. We will cross paths again, and I hope it is just around the corner–thank you and Ted and your wonderful staff for having a piece of magic in the middle of D.C.
    Leni Ward —

  462. Hi H —
I just wanted to say that my staff and I had an amazing two days at the Mansion. Absolutely wonderful. They really got into the activities and I credit the Mansion, because it simply provided us with the perfect environment to break down some walls and come together as a team. I was so pleased with how engaged they were and I have to say Ted’s raw and exposed session was really, really a hit with these guys. They were talking about it all day. Huge.

Thanks so much. Would like to figure out a way to give back to the place that gave us so much here, so will look for ways to do so. In the meantime,

Here is the website as well that represents the public accountability arm of Western Energy Project:

    Laurel —

  463. Awesome brunch, thanks Ted & H!

The chef at the omelette bar was fantastic. The bacon was great as always. —

  464. Wonderful & unique experience. It was my second visit and I brought two friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. She loved it! Valerie Mann —

  465. This was my first visit to the Mansion and I truly enjoyed the show. The ladies were hilarious!!! —

  466. Everything was great. We especially appreciated the gentleman who told us to find the wine cellar. —

  467. Enjoyable, unique experience. Very appreciative if your friendly, helpful staff. —

  468. Our whole family had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day at the Mansion, one of Washington’s most under-publicized gems. You have such a friendly and fun place, and with every visit we find new delights and surprises. Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing us such a treasure for the city, the arts … and always, for your members and patrons. Steve and Carol Goldman —

  469. very friendly staff and great personal attention. Haven’t seen a meal like that since my last function at the Mansion.Eric Neuman —

  470. The Mansion (which could probably also justfiably be called “The Museum” because of all the artifacts it has) is a really cool and unique place in DC. The maze of rooms was highly stimulating and entertaining. The numbers of rooms is pretty amazing. I wasn’t at a loss for words as I discovered room after room. As a big music fan (especially of classic rock), I was very pleasantly surprised to discover this most impressive collection of classic rock paraphenila. I will make a strong recommendation to all my musician friends to visit. I particularly enjoyed the basement and some of the outrageous bathrooms (all over the house). The only signficant thing that I didn’t like is that the cigarette smoke spread throughout the house. This place would be awesome for a private or company party. Absolutely no wait at the bar (perfect) and complementary munchies were nice touches.—

  471. It was another fantastic experience having breakfast at the Mansion. My friends, who had never been there before, were totally impressed with everything and will definitely return for more. The food was great as always and the hospitality and personal touch makes one feel like they are with family. We all loved seeing the different rooms, the décor and the secret doorways. It was a thrilling experience for all. Can’t wait to come back.Warm regards,Don Rakestraw —

  472. Gosh because I always offer positive comments I racked my brain to find something, anything, that wasn’t superb. I got it! My stomach was not large enough to eat all the luscious pastries and array of cheeses I would have liked.Oh well, I tried!Thank you Mansion on O.Teri-E —

  473. At first we were a bit taken back. As two people who live with a high-level of design esthetic and domestic integrity we usually don’t enjoy “clutter” or a mixed decor. That said by the time our event began our whole attitude and appreciation changed dramatically. We started to see the trees through the forest and were enthralled. The art and the history hidden in every corner along the the stories told by the staff brought the Mansion alive. The event was handled flawlessly. The food and service, impeccable. The entertainment was at a level on par with the intimate venue this mansion had now become. Even in the morning we saw new treasures, heard new stories and met new and interesting people. Ted and H. were personas that added a whole other dimension to this day. We even had to purchase her books and a South American Cane that became part of my soul during the night. It was a fantastic experience. As we packed our bags and got into our car one of the fantastic staff helped us out and we told him we really enjoyed our time at the Mansion and looked forward to returning. He responded in sincerity, “We enjoyed having you and can’t wait to see us come back”. I think he meant it too. Thank you all.

  474. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of visiting the Mansion. It’s in a beautiful location right off DuPont Circle, and Embassy Row. And, the quirky decor was quite different from anything we’ve seen before. It was a great experience. We’ll be back. —

  475. Fantastic magical experienced. We loved being a guest of the hotel and exploring around like kids. The concert was perfect and we are still talking about it.The Gannons —

  476. I had a wonderful time at my Association’s event. I had never been to the Mansion and was amazed at the ingenuity of all the rooms, the uniqueness of the interior design and everything that was for sale! I would also like to send a special shout out to the young lady who was coordinating our event; she did an exceptional job at keeping the event organized and on track, getting all of our members fed in a timely manner and taking special care of each guest in attendance. Bravo to all of the Staff at The Mansion! —

  478. I had a wonderful time… the whole environment couldn’t be better as the staff. —

  479. Our group loved the mansion and appreciated us for bringing them there for their team building and idea sharing activities. The food of course was awesome and the scavenger hunt was a hit! Thanks for your hospitality! —

  480. What a great idea. The wedding was perfect. Everything was exactly as I wanted it to be. We’ll come back on a Monday for a viewing party! Andrea

  481. Great rooms and super staff. Especially enjoyed the music provided by owners Saturday night in the main reception library. —

  482. I love the Mansion on O Street and I had a great time on Halloween night. Thank you so much! —

  483. We had a fabulous time. The mansion is so cool and we loved the search for items on the list. The show was outstanding. All the entertainers were great, but the first one was remarkable. Her comedic talent made the crowd bowl over with laughter and her singing and dancing made her shine. The comedy in the show was unlike all other shows I’ve seen. We will be back and we will bring friends. Thanks for a super evening! —

  484. very nice that the wait staff know which sides to serve and take from, and to wait until all finished a course before clearing plates. not many do this anymore —

  485. very nice that the wait staff know which sides to serve and take from, and to wait until all finished a course before clearing plates. not many do this anymore —

  486. It was definitely different. A wonderful experience, I recommend the Drag Show to anyone. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! —

  487. I needed a map to find the secret doors! I know that is lazy but at the same time I was brought up to not touch things that are historical so was too afraid to push or pull on items that I later found out I should have been exploring. Fantastic other than that! ;)

  488. I went with my (adult) niece to view the mansion for a corporate event and never expected to have such a great experience! The breakfast was tasty and although brand new to the Mansion, our waiter was as helpful as he could be; it’s hard to be attentive without being intrusive but he did it very well. Our omelette was perfected cooked and the waffles (yes, plural – we shared and one simply wasn’t enough!) were really good – especially when we paired it with the apples in brandy which was incredibly good. —

  489. Too much to say! COming tonight-maybe I can get my thoughts together after a second visit. But I will say I am HOOKED! Kim sullivan —

  490. I have been coming here since 1993. Over these 20 years I have come for lunch, brunch, dinner with friend’s and family. We had our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah here, m y father’s 70th birthday where 12 of us stayed over including dinner and brunch. I celebrated my 50th birthday here where we announced our engagement in 2008. And in 2011 when when our son got married we came with guests the day after the wedding.

In 2018 I will be 60. No small thing since I have leukemia. I would think O Street will play a part in this special celebration year since it has in so m any of our families milestones.

Thank you H for sharing your vision! —

  491. The Mansion is one of the favorite places in DC and I love to take people there. I’ve been several times and still find new rooms and secret doorways. —

  492. My husband and I spent the day exploring all of the rooms. We had such a fun time!! Although we only found four of the secret doors, it was well worth it! Looking forward to coming back to find more! —

  493. Out of all of the sights to see and museums to visit, this was definitely the best. My girlfriend and I have never experienced something like this and we will not only suggest this to all of our friends, but will visit back as soon as we can! —

  494. Great evening, friendly staff, gorgeous background for glamour shots! —

  495. As always, the O Mansion was a hit! The food was delicious and the pleasantness of the staff is always impeccable…we will be returning soon…and contemplating having a wedding there! Thanks again! —

  496. As always, I enjoyed staying at the Mansion, my home away from home in DC. Eric took very good care of me, providing good directions to several nearby destinations. I forgot to bring back the two wonderful books of poetry by H to have her sign them, something that I will remedy when I come back. See you next time, John Randall —

  497. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. Exploring the Mansion was a lot of fun! —

  498. This summer… I had a moment, while swimming in The Mansion’s pool that I felt so much joy and privilege to be alive and in DC — in your swimming pool. I thought about those who I longed to share that moment with and realized I was totally alone. So I took another gulp of air. Utterly embracing that in that moment life and what life
really is meant to be had just revealed to me itself in vesica mandorla. Aqua blue, from a satellite view and comically juxtaposed between the bizarre and scientific, and then me. So I’m taking this moment to look back and thank The Mansion. For the path you’ve laid in flight by your own calling and grace of footsteps fallen. You build beautiful rooms, stairwells, bookshelves, collections and secret doors. Not to mention THE best kept swimming pool in Washington DC.

Thank you dearly for having me. —

  499. Thank you for your huge vision,
clarity of purpose and boundless Heartfulness!

You have made a great difference in our lives and the lives of the rest of this world!
    Keep up the great mission.
I bow to your sincere graciousness!

The very best to you and your great family!
    May we meet again.

    Thank you Dear One. —

  500. It was a hoot and a holler. 3 of us landed up at the Mansion for a Monday night HH, little did we anticipate the madness and adventure that followed. From the hunting loft to the cellar rooms, secrets and quirks abound and no better way to explore the enigma than with a couple of glasses of Cava to drink smoothly as you wander around this amazingly cavernous adventure zone! —

  501. Our wedding experience at the Mansion on O street was beyond anything we could even have dreamt. More than the outrageously wonderful accommodations, the food that everyone raved to us about, even the magnificent experience of the Mansion as a physical place, we remain stunned by the kindness, the gentleness, the expertise, and the professionalism of the people who truly ARE the Mansion.I wish I could put my words into an eloquent stream, but how often does anyone truly get to experience a perfect event? A PERFECT event! From start to finish, from check-in to wedded bliss, to dazzling reception, to haven that was our amazing personal retreat after the festivities, it was perfection.Every expectation was not only exceeded, but blown out of the water. I could not have imagined a day like the one that H and T gave us. Our family and friends will never forget this day, and we are similarly fixed by the magic we experienced there. It is not just a venue. It is not just an organization. The Mansion is an adventure – a fantasy made real.We are so thankful, so overwhelmed. Thank you H. Thank you T. You gave us the gift of starting a life together marked by wonderment. You made us feel so special, so chosen, so very lucky to know you and be able to live in your world for those beautiful moments. Trusting you and your wonderful team (we so appreciated Amanda and Sally and truly every person who participated in our event) was the best decision we ever could have made. Our gorgeous and delicious surprise pagoda wedding cake was but one proof of many that leaving it in your hands is a guarantor of success and happiness. I don’t know how we will ever be able to show our appreciation, but we shall find a way. —

  502. We had a wonderful trip. Relaxing, fun, a great place to decompress for an evening. Looking forward to the next trip back! —

  503. It was great. The treasure hunt and the shops was amazing. I had a great time. —

  504. - Breakfast was fabulous. Quite a selection to chose from. Service staff was professional, attentive, and helpful. Made you feel welcome. Chef was terrific.- Mansion tour was awesome. Really enjoyed trying to find all the hidden places. We found quite a few but could have used some more hints. Each room had so many items to look at, many being antiques was just amazing. The Mansion is an unknown Washington treasure that is unique. It was a great way to spend 3-4 hours. —

  505. The mansion is so full of mystery and magic–if you are open to it, the experience can be truly one of a kind!!! —

  506. This was one of the best family experiences we have had. My grandchildren, ages 5 and 15, thought it was great. My daughters, one who has been at several HIGH TEAS said that this surpassed everything she had been to. The boys want to bring their father back for brunch so we will certainly be back. Found thirteen doors, looking forward to finding more next time. By the way your service was wonderful and the young blond woman who greeted us and gave us some history on the Mansion was charming, warm and wonderful. She certainly is a great asset to your organization. Really enjoyed the afternoon and have told all my friends about this wonderful place. Thank you so much for a wonderful day. —

  507. The scavenger tour was great! We had a wonderful time at the mansion. —

  508. Such a unique venue. Lots to see before the show. Very friendly staff with stories about different parts of the house. The drag show was great fun. The leader was terrific. —

  509. I went with my husband and a friend, and we absolutely loved the scavenger hunt. We’d been to the mansion before but the mustaches, drinks and free food made it even more fun. The scavenger hunt list was a bit easier this time around too, and we got most things on the list, although we were a little confused about whether we had to stick to one floor of the mansion. We explored every floor and found five secret doors, which made it feel like the most epic scavenger hunt ever. The staff was friendly, the drinks were good, and the mansion is an adventure. We’ll definitely do it again! —

  510. Dear H, Ted, and Amanda,Thank you *so much* for hosting us in the Rosa Parks room. We were only a couple of miles from home, but I felt like we were on vacation in an enchanted house a thousand miles away. I hope to return whenever I need a sanctuary or a peaceful writer’s retreat. All love,Susan Burgerman (and Andrew Baxley) —

  511. Excellent service. Everything was executed perfectly and exactly as I had requested. During the set-up phase, my emails were always answered immediately and Amanda was delightful to work with. The food was delicious and included even MORE choices than I had selected! During the course of the meeting, I did not have to take time away from the discussion to worry about event details. I felt our group had total privacy, but it seemed the staff was always aware if we needed another chair, more water, etc.

I look forward to many successful events at The Mansion in the future and would certainly recommend the venue to friends and colleagues! —

  512. It was a great venue and provided an intimate setting for Bobby Bridger. Everything was great! —

  513. Dear H & Ted, Michael and I visited your home (The words hotel or mansion does not relay the warmth and uniqueness of your space or you) this weekend and fell in love. Well, I must admit for Michael it was love at first sight and for me it took some time to see things through his eyes. Michael sees the world as it should be and I like being along for the ride for 33 years now. Your passion for what you do and more importantly, how you do it is special to be around. I read many reviews on line. The positive reviews were expected. The few negative reviews revealed far more about the author than your home. I was actually sad for those reviewers who did not “get” what the Mansion offers: freedom to explore your world, to learn something about ourselves, and to see things from a different perspective. While exploring with our daughter (visiting Ms. Park’s room, the log cabin suite, viewing the most expensive treasures to the seemingly mundane) I was taken to places in my childhood both good and bad and shared wonderful memories with her. —

  514. The surprise shower exemplified Mansion Magic. Everyone raved about the good karma and Mansion-style hospitality. I can’t wait to come over and play again.
Your fan base continues to swell. Thanks for all the bliss you spread in DC and beyond…—

  515. SO MUCH FUN!!!!The whole evening was very entertaining. I loved getting to explore the mansion, and the performers were very personable and engaging. All-around great time! THANKS! —

  516. My smile wrinkles are becoming more pronounced and the Mansion is at fault. When I think of my experience at the The Mansion, drive to the Mansion, eat at the Mansion, roam around the Mansion and relive the memory of the Mansion, I smile. The service is exceptional, food beautifully prepared and yummy, environs a museum to behold. I love it there.Thank you for adding to my smile wrinkles this week.Teri-E Belf —

  517. We loved it! My team of executives were like kids let loose at a theme park. They gave me a round of applause for selecting the venue. —

  518. It was very well done! The food was delicious and the experience was one to remember!Thank you! —

  519. Sometimes when one has an event there is the inevitable second guessing: wouldn’t the food/the ambiance/the service/the vibe of another place possible have been better?? But NOT A BAT squeak of those thoughts occurred before, during or after the spectacular book party you hosted for me last Saturday. Everything looked so beautiful, the food was divine, everyone who worked the party was elegant, thoughtful, polite without being smarmy, and engaged in a way that felt beautifully personal. I could not have been more grateful for what you did. Thank you H, and Ted and one and all. —

  520. Enjoyed bringing a friend as part of her birthday celebration. Enjoyed chatting with staff, received immediate response in request to pricing several unmarked items. —

  521. Fantastic experience! The house is fascinating and the scavenger hunt a fun challenge. I wish I had arrived promptly at 5:30 when it started —

  522. We came to the Mansion as a suggestion of one of my former students. Not knowing what to expect, we booked a penthouse tour. My family and I stayed for hours! We were all enthralled – adults and children! My son was eager to see the next room and find the next door as fast as possible, while the rest of wanted to poke around and just look with wonder. One visit was not enough. It was our favorite part of our dc vacation! You asked what was my favorite room and I answered the wine cellar. In hindsight, that was a total fib. My favorite room was downstairs the room with comic books and games. That room felt the most comfortable to me. We are actually giving my sister a night at the Mansion as her christmas/birthday present. Thank you so much for sharing such a wonder place with us!! —

  523. Just that you are both very special people and I can’t think of any space I’d rather be in. It’s beautiful and private and it cleanses the spirit while at the same time rejuvenating the soul. He’ll……we love you guys.Dave Hardin —

  524. Staying at the Mansion is like visiting an old friend. You always feel welcome. The atmosphere and experiences can’t be found elsewhere. If you’re a music fan this is your place. I’ll always come back anytime I’m in DC. Ted and H are the ultimate hosts! —

  525. We had a fabulous time! The hours just slipped away while we were gazing around. It was especially nice that you provided a few munchies with our drinks, since we burned a lot of calories running up and down the stairs! Thanks for a fun experience! —

  526. Very fun! One of the most interesting places we have ever spent the evening exploring. —

  527. It was so much fun! We really enjoyed the Tuxedo and Burlesque Masquerade Ball! We met so many interesting people and can’t wait to do it again!! —

  528. The Blues jam was an extraordinary experience and I’m not even a big fan of the Blues. Everyone was real friendly and I didn’t feel discouraged by my lack of musical talents. —

  529. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind!!! We had a great time exploring and we absolutely loved it!! The only issue we had was completely our fault – we should have used the valet services. Other than the issue that was our fault, it was an amazing time!!! Thanks for everything!!! —

  530. Great experience. We had alot of fun and plan to return for Brunch. —

  531. The masquerade ball you hosted was charming; I enjoyed the decor, the food was yummy —

  532. Always the best place to stay in Washington (or anywhere else, for that matter). Loved the Fireplace Suite. My new favorite room. —

  533. I loved everything and definitely want to stay in one of the cool rooms! —

  534. We made reservations for mustache Monday and had such a wonderful time, especially since my husband won the contest for finding the hidden item and winning the T-shirt. It was his birthday, so that made it extra special. The young lady (forgot her name) at the front desk was extra nice. We enjoyed the mansion so much that on our next visit to DC we will go again. Loved the hidden rooms and all the objects for sale. It was super cool. Thank you for help in making my husbands birthday special. Absolutely loved it.Susan and Luis Gonzalez —

  535. I had a great time wandering around the mansion! It was lots of fun. —

  536. OMG! I’ve lived in DC for 15 years and never knew about this museum. Now I will have to make up for lost time. This museum is a gem, nothing like it anywhere else in the U.S. You have to experience it, to understand what it offers. Young and old will enjoy it. The items will delight…..the architecture will amaze….the enormity of the mansion will awe. AND –the secret doors and passageway will tickle your creative juices! My tween and teen daughters spent FIVE hours there on a scavenger hunt and we can’t wait to return with friends. Just go. Don’t even think about it. —

  537. What a hidden gem in the heart of DC!!! We could have spent days wandering through the museum and still have missed so much. We will make this a must stop on our future visits to the city. Thanks to our host and his charming daughter for the amazing inside stories and gracious hospitality. —

  538. I had a wonderful time at the mansion. It was so much fun exploring the rooms and searching for secret doors! It is truly a unique place to visit. —

  539. So much fun! I have been wanting to visit for years, and I’m glad to finally go. I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt, discovering little things here and there–what a thrill to see some Highlander the series books and a pound puppy–two of my favorite things from the past and such unexpected finds. I loved the diversity of items, from showy to cheap to valuable to priceless. I went with my Harry Potter group and it was lovely to see some Harry Potter items hidden in different rooms. Directions to get to the museum from the Metro were perfect and so useful. Thank you for having those on your website. The only con I have to report is that we were unable to find that darn cowboy and that specific bear with the subtle eyes and white background. I swear we looked everywhere! So where were they hiding? This is going to keep me up at night! lol Thanks for the incredibly enjoyable afternoon. Certainly worth waiting for :-)

  540. Any visit to the Mansion on O is a special treat, but when the DesBerardos are singing in the house, it is a rare, fun and exceptionally wonderful time. The Mansion on O is always an adventure. Every nook and cranny, twist and turn is filled with awe-inpiring memorabilia, sensational decor and hospitality beyond your wildest imagination. And Chris Berardo and the DesBerardos are equally as memorable – every song, a musical joy ride. Two experiences not to be missed: The DesBerardos and the Mansion on O. Thank you for a memorable evening! —

  541. We had a great time exploring. I’ll be back with other grandchildren! —

  542. Super fun day……H was great….as was Mr. H. Enjoyed the mansion’s many treasures and Great music! —

  543. We LOVED our visit to the O Street Museum and have recommended a tour to everyone who asks about our visit to DC! Thank you, O Street Museum, for your hospitality. We highly recommend visiting the O Street Museum as you will not be disappointed. The O Street Museum is the best kept secret!Larry, Lisa and Tyler —

  544. Thank you. Many of our friends and family have contacted me since my brother’s memorial to say how beautiful the event was, and what a perfect environment the Mansion provides to celebrate a life. I love you guys and am comforted to have found a place so full of magic, peace, and music. —

  545. Wonderful tour as always. Fascinating place and we found a new secret door! —

  546. We really loved the mansion and thought the overall experience was just amazing. My husband is a natural inquisitive detective and he had a blast trying to find all the secret doors. Sadly, he was so disappointed he could only find 7! We will surely be visiting again sometime in the near future.Thank you! —

  547. very authentic place! I love the old-school and classy decorations in the mansion, full of surprise! —

  548. We absolutely loved Showstoppers and exploring the mansion! The show was first rate. The performers were all super talented and diva-ishly divine. I’m looking forward to the next Showstoppers and I’m arriving even earlier to explore more of the mansion. —

  549. The staff was friendly and ready to recieve guests. They were organized and I liked the way we could select and reserve our seat then wander the mansion and enjoy a drink. The show was great! —

  550. Simply wonderful! It was a fabulous event. I invited several friends. They enjoyed searching for secret doors, exploring rooms, finding treasures, meeting new people of all ages, and of course, the glitz, glamour and media interest in the Beatles, Fab 4, unveiling. We’re planning to attend other events and tell more friends about the beautiful Mansion on O Street. —

  551. The show was the time of my life, and I will definitely be back to find the remaining secret doors! —

  552. My family and I had a wonderful time during our first trip to the Mansion. The experience of exploring lived up to my expectations, and we especially appreciated the “old” feel of the spaces. We got a kick our of all the juxtapositions, loved the creative painting (ceilings, for example), and the terrific interiors of the hotel rooms/baths. We will absolutely be back, and will bring more family and friends on future visits. Keep up this great venue! —

  553. Very fun. The facilitator did a great job spreading things around and engaging people. I plan to become a regular. —

  554. This is a fascinating gem in the middle of DC. I am here in the city for a summer internship, and this was a great addition to the rush of museums and monuments. It is different from anything else that I saw. Hunting for secret doors and looking through the (well-priced) antiques was fun. I brought along a friend who is from DC and she had never heard of it, so was skeptical at first, but ended up loving it. There’s also a nice bar and there was live music in the main entrance. As a place to spend an hour or two and explore, it is well worth the trip. —

  555. Delicious! It was my 2nd visit in the last two months, and a journey of discovery each time.At the Mansion, —

  556. An amazing and fantastic place. Looking forward to visiting again. —

  557. I am an avid museum goer. By far, this is the most interesting museum I’ve been to in many years. The combination of art, antiques, memorabilia and ingenious interior design of the bathrooms and flat screen tv’s and kitchens makes the venue a must stay. and secret treasure of DC! I will definitely return soon to take part in another secret door hunt! I’m determined to find a lot ore.

  558. A wonderfully unique event in one of Washington’s best intimate settings for live music and celebrations! And, of course, great customer service. —

  559. It was an amazing experience! Great reception, excessive variety of drinks, excellent service, and a band playing Beatles’ tunes what could be better! I felt like attending a wonderful party with all the friends around. —

  560. We really enjoyed the exhibits, facility, and hospitality, but we can’t imagine where all the hidden doors are located, having found only four. Thanks for inviting us! —

  561. What a great way to spend a Monday night !!!! Food, drink , scavenger hunt ,live music and personal photo shoot with the Beatles (wax versions of course). I will be keeping an eye on future events at the Mansion. —

  562. I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone at the O Mansion for a wonderful time on July 20, 2013. I helped a good friend of mine celebrate part of her bridal shower at the O Mansion with the Treasure Hunt. This day was very important to the bride and me. The bride had a very difficult childhood and as a teenager had many obstacles to overcome. As an adult, she has made great accomplishments and has found someone who makes her very happy to marry. I wanted this bridal shower to be a special day for her.

As soon as we entered the O Mansion we were greeted with very warm, courteous and professional people. The best part was meeting the owner/founder of the O Mansion. Prior to meeting her, I read about her and the O Mansion. So it was an absolute pleasure meeting her. I loved the fact that she greeted us with a beautiful smile and took the time to explain to us about the O Mansion and the Treasure Hunt. The experience of the O Mansion was sensational! Seeing the different decor of the rooms and all the interesting, beautiful and nostalgic art work that were on the walls and in the rooms, sent my sensory into over drive.

Once again, I just wanted to say, “Thank You” to everyone at the O Mansion who helped to make that day a very special day, for a very deserving special bride. —

  563. Our group had a great time at the Beatles celebration. Looking for items for the treasure hunt was fun, but ultimately we kept the treasure hunt form as a souvenir. The Beatles looked like they were ready to talk to us, and we took pictures with them. The snacks were perfect since we didn’t have time for dinner before the event. We also enjoyed the concert. It was hard to take pictures with the Beatles, since everyone wanted to do it at the same time, but that is not a complaint. —

  564. As a post work destresser, this was exactly what I was looking for. Having never been to the mansion before, I thought I had fallen into my dream scenario when I walked through the doors. The staff at the entrance were really nice and the scavenger hunt was a great way to explore the little ins and outs of the hotel without feeling like you were walking through a museum, not that I imagine anyone could feel that way anyway. I was completely intrigued and amazed be the architecture and decor of the old mansion. I loved the music and will definitely be back again soon!!! —

  565. really enjoyed the Beatles tribute–both the music and the food were great. Thanks. Rick Neuman —

  566. I think the Mansion is a wild, wonderful, fascinating, thought-provoking place. The entire team is gracious and helpful. I can’t wait to come back and prowl around more and I would LOVE to stay overnight – I’m saving up for that! —

  567. This was my first visit to The Mansion on O Street. I did not know this hotel existed in my neighborhood. The self guided tour of the hotel with my friends was eventful. Our pictures with the Fab Four are memorable. Thank you for opening up your hotel to the public with a themed event. I would definitely return to The Mansion for themed events. Thank you. Warm regards, Jose Caldera —

  568. My fiancee and I had the time of our lives at the Beatles 50th Anniversary Celebration! It was one of our best date nights to date! —

  569. My friend and I came to celebrate her birthday at your dessert tea. I was expecting a few tea sandwiches, scones and clotted cream…and instead we found a “groaning board” of lovely and tasty desserts. What a decadent delight! The staff was friendly, helpful and down-to-earth…a refreshing change from other venues for tea. And then we explored the house… It was like being transported back to the turn of the last century with the bay windows, sparkling chandeliers, lavish woodwork and seemingly endless rooms. I plan to come back and take another tour…just to find more secret doors…spend time looking more closely at all the treasures…and thinking of a time long gone. Thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon in July! – A Victorian Lady at Heart —

  570. It was so fascinating!!! The whole building has a lot to offer . —

  571. The breakfast was great. Love the Chef. Enjoyed touring the rooms. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to play there again. Thank you! —

  572. The Mansion on O Street is a premier party venue. The ambience alone is worth the trip! I celebrated my 30th birthday there and every detail was beyond beautiful. The decoration is out of a novel fit for 19th century fantasy meets 21st century pop culture. The chairs are decorative and the tables are lined with lace. Chandeliers adorn the ceiling and you feel like you are a part of Washington history kept away. The food was amazing. The London broil option just melts in your mouth. I also appreciated the chef’s care in the dish, to not serve until it was perfectly cooked. The dessert delicacies were so pretty, that I didn’t want to eat them. Visually they are stunning. I truly enjoyed my function. After hosting several parties from 5 star hotels to small party spaces, the Mansion on O Street would be in my top 3 places to have a celebration in Washington, DC. —

  573. In the words of my eight year old granddaughter, Maddie, this was an “Awesome” visit! I had never been to the Mansion, so both of us were entering with eyes wide open. Wow! It seemed that we were the only touring guests during the time we were there, and H, Tracy, and Ted really made us feel super special. Maddie took her Treasure Hunt list very seriously, enjoyed the “milk and cookies”, chose a recommended book, asked questions, and went bananas trying to find the hidden doors. She was extremely proud to locate three of them (thanks to some hints from our hosts!). —

  574. I have been coming to the mansion since the ’00’s and it is always fun. My friends and I used to come for drinks and then just wander around looking through all of the fun rooms. We found a new secret room so, it was extra special! —

  575. I really enjoyed breakfasting at the Mansion prior to the Classical Revolution DC Jammin! The food was wonderful and the staff very professional and helpful (ie. me and my need for lots of tea through the morning). I’m looking forward to the experience again next month! —

  576. I LOVED the mansion!! It was beautiful, the food was great, the staff were wonderful. I absolutely loved it and would go there again. —

  577. Dear Ted and H, My stay at the Mansion was once again, magical. Eric took excellent care of me. I hadn’t stayed in the Fireplace Suite before and really enjoyed the room. I purchased H’s poetry books so that I don’t have to come to the Mansion to enjoy them. Eric suggested that I bring them back for my next stay and get H to sign them, which I will do. Till next time, John Randall —

  578. Great show! We love the Mansion tour, walking through the rooms was a lot of fun. —

  579. Last night was an incredibly AWESOME time!!! My first time going to a drag show!!!! LOVED IT!!!! The ladies really brought the house down!!!! I WILL be back again! —

  580. Our dinner meeting at The Mansion was perfect. The food was delicious, the tour of the Mansion was thrilling and the service was impecable. Thank you for a wonderful event. —

  581. When I came to your show on 6/13 I had a really, really difficult week. On Monday 6/10 of that week I had quit a job that wasn’t going well. On Tuesday 6/11 it marked a very sad “anniversary” for me. My oldest son Christopher died 9 years ago from a terminal illness, he would have been 10. Tuesday marked 9 years since he died, and I was so very sad that week. When you lose a child it is the most heartbreaking thing in the entire world, your pain never goes away. His “angel day” is always a day filled with so much sadness.

When I came to your show I did something I don’t do often. I laughed! I smiled! Than I laughed and smiled again, and touring that big mansion was transformative for me! I became happy again. I knew it was ok to become happy again. And than I laughed and smiled some more. It truly was, one of the best nights of my life. Somehow it let me know that everything in life was ok. I am so grateful to your wonderful mansion for that. I would love to come back to brunch sometime and bring my husband and kids for my birthday next month (something a little calmer!) and have a chance to revisit the Mansion again. I am absolutely in love with O Mansion now. It taught me how to smile again.

Please forward this on to your owner. I want her to know how much her wonderful mansion brings happiness to people’s lives. —

  582. We really enjoyed exploring the mansion on our self-directed tour. It was wonderful and we will be back and will recommend it to friends! —

  583. O mansion is a very unique and relaxing place to stay and visit. I will definitely stay there again. Sally Richa —

  584. The Mansion was a unique and wonderful surprise in the middle of the city. We had family visiting from Florida with two children (ages 6 and 8) who fell in love with the place. The kids loved finding secret doors to run back and share with the rest of the group. The adults loved finding the bar so we could wander around, taking our time with a cocktail. The staff were great and added to our experience. We’ve put the Mansion on our —

  585. The mansion was absolutely amazing! Each room was so uniquely decorated in its own style with its own chachkies. Visiting every room and looking for the secret doors felt like an adventure. I will definately be back to explore the mansion again! —

  586. I love bringing friends or family here and watch them being amazed. Grateful for the valet parking on a rainy day. We found only 5 secret doors! —

  587. It’s always fun to come and explore. And I love learning trivia about the mansion – like how the hat collection got started. Our docent on our most recent tour gave us some fun trivia. I love that the whole place is a huge store. Keep up the great work! We’re fans for life!

  588. I love this place. Love it! I especially love the owners – they are so nice, friendly and informative. Thanks yesterday for the little tidbits on the Stones. It made our visit there even more memorable! Hope you loved the concert as much as we did.

  589. It’s always so much fun to come tour around and everyone who works there is very friendly.

  590. As always, it was just a magical experience! Even on a business trip, with long, hectic days, the Mansion made me smile.

  591. We love it there. It is very relaxed.. homey.. low key.. and so interesting.. and want to come back many times.. thanks very much for the hospitality.. appreciate it greatly.. joe —

  592. My husband and I had a lovely stay. We were welcomed to roam but left alone, and enjoyed exploring. The Mansion is a unique gem. —

  593. I came for the Champagne tour with three friends on a Sunday afternoon. We had the best time so much to see! We are planning our next visit to continue exploring. —

  594. Overall our breakfast was an incredible experience. Food was top shelf, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was of course second to none. —

  595. The O Street Mansion exceeded my expectations. My friend and I had participated in Mustache Monday, which included a treasure hunt around the building. It was so interesting going around the various rooms and secret doors. The main staff and the bartender were extremely friendly and personable as well. I would definitely go back again! —

  596. Just returned from another wonderful stay at the Mansion. I chose the Country room this time and was delighted. I love to roam around the hotel looking at the opulent rooms and finding secret doors. Everything is beautifully appointed and makes me feel very special to be there. It’s hard to describe the uniqueness – you just have to experience it for yourself. Very highly recommended. – KH —

  597. What a place! The Mansion on O Street is chock-full of surprises and delights! Great place to explore with friends…or spend the night…or host an event. Our group found about 9 of the 70 secret doors. Make sure to ask about the wine cellar! Highly recommend. —

  598. AWESOME! Thank you for the opportunity to meet the illustrious founder and owner Mrs H.H. Leonard-Spero and President, Mr. Spero! For me that was as awesome as discovering each one of your beautiful and fascinating rooms. I so look forward to recommending you for fabulous and unique venues and returning again to complete the tour and buy one of those gorgeous hats! I know where to find one when I need i and will definitely come from Gainesville to get it!
    Thanks again!

  599. The staff at CAI had an AMAZING time. this is truly a gem to see. The whole staff is still talking about the house, food and staff. We cannot wait to go back again. Thank you so much for everything.

  600. I was so amazed at EVERYTHING. the host and hostess have created a fun exciting envirnoment for anyone that comes to visit. a couple nites stay is a must and not in the same room. For tours you must set aside at least 2 hours plus and please EAT. the food is AMAZING. i can go on and on and on but you really do need to visit. i cant wait to go back with friends and family.chris coneccone@caionline.org

  609. Fascinating place! Only had an hour at lunch time to explore but will definitely come back to continue the hunt for more secret doors. Staff is so friendly and helpful, we felt right at home. Well, your average home crammed with more stuff than you’d find in half a dozen hotels! —

  610. Awesome place! Definately couldn’t see everything on first visit so will have to go back. It is a fun/different type of place to take visitors that are in town. I had heard so much about the place but finally got to experience it first-hand. Must see for everyone!!! —

  611. I had the best time I’ve had in a long time at the Mansion on O Street! Everybody was very nice and hospitable. I was concerned that the show would be overbearing and intrusive with people in the audience being —

  614. It was a fun quirky way to spend a weeknight. Performances were good, humor was good, etc. The Mansion was cool but definately ecelctic. We enjoyed the event very much and would recommend it to others. —

  615. We had a blast! We want to come back and play hide and go seek there some time. It felt like one of those huge haunted mansions that I used to read about as a kid, and then thought didn’t exist when I grew up. But it does exist! So much fun, I can’t wait to go back! —

  631. We hosted our 4th Mad Hatter Tea to Benefit Morquio (MPS IV) Syndrome Research at the Mansion and it was over-the-top awesome! Our BEST fundraiser ever! All our guests were in awe as the entered this enchanting and whimsical place. It set the perfect tone for a happy event to raise money for such a critically important cause to save lives of children with MPS. Our daughter was diagnosed with this rare degenerative disease as a baby and raising money for research has been a top priority since her diagnosis. We know that is the only way to save her. Although it has been a very difficult road for our young daughter we are determined to stay focused and get to a cure. We are so deeply grateful to the O Mansion owners and staff for generously sponsoring and hosting our Mad Hatter event in this fantastic venue. —

  632. My friend and I were looking for something new to do rather than the same old dinner and drinks and found this tour on living social and thought it sounded like a great daytime activity. And we were right! We loved exploring this massive mansion and it’s unique rooms, decor and items throughout the house. We had so much fun trying to find the secret rooms!! 638. The Mansion on O Street is a DC gem! I can’t believe it took a Living Social deal for me to discover it, despite being a native Washingtonian. What an amazing place and fun experience! It made me want to book a weekend “secret” getaway in one of the wildly fascinating rooms. More people should know about this place and I plan to do my part telling people I know. My only recommendation would be to provide more hints on secret doors :-)

  639. Both my wife and I enjoyed our visit to the O Street Mansion! We fond several secrete doors! We look forward to visiting again. —

  640. We had a great time at the show and loved touring the mansion. —

  642. Amazing hospitality and the desserts were fabulous! —

  643. The house tour was totally not what I expected. I thought it would be a typical great tour of an old house – instead, it was an amazing experience. The details in the mansion are beautiful but all of the pictures, sculptures, books, chachkis were awesome! We especially loved looking for the secret doors and finding more treasures behind them. Our group had such a great time. LOVED it!!! —

  644. We loved our stay and were glad we were able to stay on a night when the hotel was not crowded. Overall, what a wonderful experience. The owner and her staff are fantastic and so hospitable. The experience of exploring the three inter-connected rowhouses through a series of secret passageways was incredible and a wonderful first anniversary present!! Thank you! —

  645. Extremely interesting; I’ve never seen anything quite like this mansion.
    Most enjoyable and informative. —

  646. The O Mansion is unlike anything anyone can imagine. Friends visiting this past week from France and then Sweden asked to visit something “that tourists wouldn’t know to visit in Washington.” We knew just the place for them — the Mansion on O Street.
